A minor classic on BBC Radio 5 at the weekend -

"Now lets go to Jim for news of the two o'click c*ck-off".

Not a spoonerism, but one of the mythical TV bloopers was allegedly committed by Bill Tennant, an avuncular, safe pair of hands, type of newscaster in the early days of STV. He had the then celebrity chef, Fanny Craddock, on his evening news round up, and after she had produced some delicious cakes, so legend has it, Bill said to the viewers at home, ‘I hope all your cakes turn out like Fanny’s.’

Just about as good as the annual Boat Race, always televised live on the BBC, when the commentator allegedly said, ‘Look at the victorious Cambridge crew dipping their cox in the water.’ Well, there are some big guys in these crews, to be fair.

My fave was always "The bowler's Holding, the batsman's Willey..."

Made even funnier by the stifled giggles of Richie Benaud & Co. in the background...

Yeah - the cricket one where ‘Johnners’ was in fits of giggles was when the batsman (possibly Ian Botham) ‘couldn’t quite get his leg over’!
