When I heard the news reader on Radio Scotland saying Townsville, I thought of our Townsville Par! I don’t know him but I’m hoping he and his family are all safe.

Him and the family are all safe. He is in Brisbane at the moment and his house in Townsville is high enough to avoid the water. Am sure he will check in once he sees this.

Hi all I caught up with my brother today in Brisbane and he told me about this post. It is appreciated to hear of your concerns!!! I am in Brisbane to catch up with my brother and his partner and our house is ok. I feel for so many people who have had to be evacuated, some who have had inundation through their house 3 times in the last week. It is still raining heavily and hopefully there will be no more flooding. It will take a long time for the community to get back to normal, but it will happen. Best wishes

Good to hear you are ok, but sorry for the many that have had their homes ruined.
Can't imagine how stressful that must be.

Very glad you are safe, TP. Shocking scenes in Townsville. It is going to take a while for the city and it’s people to recover from this. Take care mate.
