 Handy man needed to fit cat flap.

Anybody out there any good at installing cat flaps? It's going into a council pvc door and is outside my range of skills.

Not a recommendation but just to say it's not as hard as it looks. The hole is covered by the base of the flap so you can make a right mess and it won't be seen.

I don't have the right equipment to even try and I'm not sure if the door panel has metal in it.

I applied for permission to fit a cat flap and got knocked back by the council.
Didn't look too difficult a job though.

If it's uPVC it'll be filled with foam. Take your point about the tools though. I needed a jigsaw and a drill to do one in my old place. I was lucky as the panel was easily removed so I did it flat and then popped it back in.
