Better to support local business. Try Giacomo's or Cafe Wynd.

Seven Kings is no' bad for a fry up. Further afield, that Cafe down on Aberdour beach does the best one I have had

Despite wanting to hate it, Weatherspoon breakfast was good for the money.

Pancake place does a good - albeit expensive - breakfast. Certainly better than Wetherspoons.

Had more than my fare share of fry ups around town and nothing beats the City hotel for quality or value. I wouldnt give wetherspoon a penny.

Went to City Hotel for breakfast recently for the first time. All I got was a bacon roll which was cold and it seemed like the bacon had been sitting out for hours rather than being freshly cooked. Wouldn't go back

You should go back and tell them. I've had dozens of breakfasts there. Every one perfect. There could be a reason for it and Im sure if you had mentioned at the time they would have sorted it.

Palace Cafe in Rosyth used to do a cracking fry up. Not been for 3 or 4 years though.

Actually the Tesco does quite a nice breakfast there.

That was a cheep shot General Zod...
Agree about Tesco, also if you want something different to what’s on the set menu you can choose whatever items you fancy and create your own. Coffee is good too.

Parrot knows I’m never serious on here. Anyway, my experience of Tesco’s fry ups isn’t memorable. The big new one in the toon used to do a phenomenal breakfast but they stopped it.

Decks at Tesco was indeed tremendous when it was an all you can eat.
Think too many fat bassas kept eating too much and they realised they had to go back to plain old breakfasts after that. Never quite been the same.
The Duloch one is rank rotten.
Crooked Glen is another shout Zod. It is still all you can eat and only £8.75 which is pretty good considering what's on offer.

Plenty of interesting suggestions. The problem is that I have to be in the town for 9:50 as I have something on.

As anyone who has emigrated abroad will tell you, the Scottish breakfast sits high up the list of "those things most missed".
While it clearly has played a part in the prevalence of heart disease, it nonetheless holds a very special place in Scottish life.
Farm fresh eggs, flavoursome Ayrshire bacon, Lorne and pork sausages, potato scones, black pudding, white pudding... just typing those ingredients makes me smack my lips.
I have travelled the world and never sat down to a breakfast that compares.

On my last trip back to the UK I brought all aforementioned items back with me. Stick of each. Me and my mate who lives a few blocks away had a fry up on Sunday's for about 2 months.

You forgot the haggis. The one thing missing from the City brekkie.
Anther good one is La Mente on the high street. Probably the nicest place to sit in too.
A bit far out for this request but a mention for Louis Browns in D Bay. Fantastic Brekki.

2 link sausage
1 lorne sausage (not too thin)
2 Hash browns
Scrambled egg
Mushrooms
1 black pudding (not too dry)
1 haggis
2 lean bacon
Fried tomatoes.
Or I could just have a plate of cuttlefish and Trill.

You know you live in an affluent society when folk can afford to eat out for breakfast and the guys on the building sites are drinking takeaway cups of 'designer' coffee instead of brewing up.

I'm guessing Parrot has also got the cleanest frying pan/grill in West Fife as the bugger seems to go everywhere for his brekkie !

Parrot, any place in the vicinity that you've not had a fry up?
BTW, Café Wynd is good if you don't mind smaller portions
