 Orient Express / Robin's cinema

Funding in place to carry out a feasibility study into putting it back into use as a cinema. Assume the interior is fairly sound but a shame they had to rip everything out in the process.

Thought they were too quick to close it at the time. Miss going to the cinema then for a drink in the town after.
Add to that the rip off Odeon prices and opening it up as a community cinema could be a goer.
Depends entirely on the refurb costs.

If only they would shut debenhams and turn it into a Vue. I only ever go to the one in Livingston for films. £5 any day any time. Odeon can ram it

As much as I'd love it to be a picture house again this is only a feasibility study so let's not get the bunting out just yet.

Small steps and all that. I think the town could easily support a small cinema. Robins closed very quickly but could easily have transformed itself into doing more art house and retro films (as well as new).

The Birks in Aberfeldy is a decent example. I reckon they make a pretty penny out the cafe.

That’s you telt, Tiddlywinks!

There’s a local group wanting it to reopen as a cinema. I’d love it too.
