 Orient Express / Robin's cinema

Funding in place to carry out a feasibility study into putting it back into use as a cinema. Assume the interior is fairly sound but a shame they had to rip everything out in the process.

If only they would shut debenhams and turn it into a Vue. I only ever go to the one in Livingston for films. £5 any day any time. Odeon can ram it

As much as I'd love it to be a picture house again this is only a feasibility study so let's not get the bunting out just yet.

Small steps and all that. I think the town could easily support a small cinema. Robins closed very quickly but could easily have transformed itself into doing more art house and retro films (as well as new).

The Birks in Aberfeldy is a decent example. I reckon they make a pretty penny out the cafe.

According to the Press it ain't happening. The cinema is planning on opening on the New Row in the unit that was previously Brittanic Assurance, Car part place and reptile shop.
