One of the sharpest wits around. For decades, he seemed to never be off the telly. As a writer, he was sublime. A life well-lived.

Yeah I always liked his travel shows when I was growing up. RIP Clive.

Gary Rhodes also passed away recently so RIP to Gary too.

it was quite a day for death announcements, the wonderful Jonathan Miller also dying. Described as a “polymath” ( I had to look it up ) he was a writer. , humourist, opera and theatre director and a qualified medical doctor! He starred in student reviews with Peter Cook , Dudley Moore and Alan Bennet - that must have been an amazing ensemble. I would have loved to have met him.
