Has anyone watched this yet, the trailers and reviews appear to be very good but is it worth 3.5 hours of time ?

It's good, some aspects are very good, however if you are expecting a Goodfellas or a Casino you'll be disappointed. The acting is top notch though from everyone involved but especially Joe Pesci.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Acting is superb, outstanding performances from all involved. Really enjoyed it, but as someone else alludes to, its not an all out gangster romp, but a very well told story.

Outstanding film. Captivating acting and Jo Pesci , despite not having a multitude of lines, doesn't need them! His presence is enough on the camera.

I saw it in the cinema. Three and a half hours is a bit of a slog but it never dragged. As said above superb acting, particularly from De Niro, Pesci and Pacino.

i had seen something that discussed breaking it into smaller "episodes" to view rather than the 3.5hour slog. not sure if option there for it.

Well that scuppers the pub quiz question - which is the only film in which Al Pacino and Robert Di Niro star together ?

Well there is at least four films now in which they both star.

I’ve watched an hour so far and I like it but I’m going to say something controversial here and I genuinely mean it but I just don’t get it with Al Pacino. To me he just over acts everything. I think he’s outrageously overrated as an actor.

Superb film. Long but worth it. Pesci steals it for me. Pacino portrayed Hoffa superbly as well.
Online have options to break it down into 4 episodes which makes sense too.

I enjoyed is although it was a bit slow. I am not too keen on film's that flit back and forth at least I could keep rewinding if I lost track of the story. I couldn't have watched it in one sitting though. I think film's should be like football matches 90 minutes with a half time Ha Ha.
