He made some good jokes about the hypocritical celebs but at least they're raising awareness. The seediness of Hollywood isn't unique.

Being "controversial" doesn't make you funny... also, along with Russell Brand, he has the type of snotty, arrogant coupon that I would happily boot up and down Toonhill Road until the cows came home..I'm not condoning violence, obviously, but I'm not a big fan... whatever floats your boat, I suppose

Hank's was apparently a regular on a private island owned by a man called Jeffery.
Not sure how if it's true, but that was the rumour.

I have been reading that Hanks is directing and starring in a forthcoming film adaptation of The Good Shepherd, a novel by CS Forester. This relates the tale of USN Commander Krause handed the responsibility of escorting a vital convoy across the Atlantic in 1942. Despite his long service he is untested but has seniority over his fellow escort ship captains, so a lot on his shoulders.
Very much a sea change (sorry!) for Forester who is of course renowned for the Hornblower wooden warship age of sail books.
Long time since I read this, but as I recall it relates the arduous journey watch by watch, the constant manoeuvres to combat and outwit the U Boat pack, the unremitting tension, exhaustion etc.
Hanks will need to knock 20 years of his age to play the 42 year old Krause though. Get that slap on...

As we all know from previous exposes.

Deflection tactics, as per usual, bodyswerve the question posed and introduce something irrelevant to the case in hand.
If you have something on Tom Hanks - let's have it please.
Incidentally, what have Savile etc. to do with Hanks ?
Why not include "expert witnesses" like Chris Fay and Carl Beech as part of your evidence trail - they are about as pertinent.

With the greatest respect you think the Dando hit was carried out by a guy with the mental age of 8.

The evidence against Hank's was that he was repeatedly on the flight manifest travelling to a convicted paedophiles party island.

"With the greatest respect you think the Dando hit was carried out by a guy with the mental age of 8."
More irrelevance.
Incidentally, Gill Dando's killer may not have been too smart - he left the expended shell casing for the police to find.
"The evidence against Hank's was that he was repeatedly on the flight manifest travelling to a convicted paedophiles party island."
The source of this would be interesting.

If you Google the alleged name of his plane (name of a well known book about an underage girl) and Tom Hanks you'll find the stories. You'll get a Google warning about child abuse.
Obviously all speculation but the suggestion was he was about to reveal names before killing himself.

"Obviously all speculation but the suggestion was he was about to reveal names before killing himself."
Specualtion being the key operative word in all these proceedings, along with assumptions.
The late Sir Stephen Hawkings had been a guest on the island I understand - therefore he too must be an alleged paedophile ?

I'd say I'd certainly question why someone in their 40s/50s/60s etc. would go to an island filled with young girls.
Of course we could always turn a blind eye like happened in the 70s and then await the story coming out after all the perpetrators are dead...

You'd be comfortable going to an island revered for having an abundance of underage "staff" ?
And I'm being kind there...one of the greatest alleged minds of our time (Hawkings)...such a lack of discernment.
Or are you going to let him away with that too?

"Or are you going to let him away with that too?"
For the sake of complete clarity and the avoidance of any doubt - are you alleging that Stephen Hawkings was a paedophile ?
A straightforward yes / no will suffice.

Bulldust! You know fine well, Rasta. We have discussed it before on threads you have been active on. But, just to jog your memory...

It was quite depressing to see that English cave diver lose his defamation case in the US against Elon Musk who accused him of being a "pedo-guy" with absolutely no evidence to back it up.
Had he won, it might have emboldened someone like Tom Hanks to call in his lawyers and take sweep-up libel action against those who are making these seemingly unfounded accusations against him.
A cease and desist letter in the mail from the lawyers of one of the richest actors in the world might just give you and your like cause to temper some of those wild and outragious claims.
