EEP , Reported as abusive, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's been ramping up over a few days. Next contentious post is a card. There's a time and a place to dissect this and it isn't on here and certainly isn't now when all the facts aren't fully available.

Moved in by home office apparently not SG but that doesn't fit your narrative.

I think you will find that it was the UK Home office that moved these people out of their temporary accomodation into city centre hotels some months ago.

Realise EEP can't reply but his suggestion above is incorrect. Not all of those stabbed were asylum seekers. Sometimes it's better to wait for the details rather than make assumptions.

EEP, You have a very unhealthy obsession with NS. Making a complete @**£ of yourself......again.
Lives have been lost and you are making accusations that are completely wrong.
A man would apologise.
You won’t.

Boris and the Tories are bad. Bad for England and especially bad for Scotland.

So the problem was due to immigrants fighting between themselves?
This post belongs to the racism thread. What difference does it make as to where on this planet the people involved in this tragic incident happen to have been born? Would it make any difference if they all happen to have been born in Scotland?
Emphasising that someone involved in perpetrating an evil act, is not a native of the country it took place in, serves no purpose other than to stoke up racial hatred and prejudices against others from the same country.
When sections of the media take a similar stance, it creates real problems. I often watch Italian news programmes. Whenever a crime is committed, they never fail to point out the race or nationality of the perpetrators, if they're not Italian. As a result, many Italians have a morbid fear and distrust of foreigners who live in Italy, especially Albanians, Romanians, Bulgarians, North Africans and Black Africans.
Not your average Sunday League player.

The Glasgow attack reminds us of how framing the narrative is one powerful tool for manufacturing consent. The cleverer media outlets such as the BBC do not throw in emotive language, recognising this might arouse suspicion from alert readers and listeners.
Here are a number of narratives from last week:
Black youths stone police in Brixton.
Covidiots are risking a second spike in the virus.
Barnier plot to block Brexit deal.
Boris opens up the UK on Independence Day.
Now every one of these narratives could be turned on its head and make as much sense:
Music loving Londoners harassed by riot police.
Government tries to shift blame for ongoing Covid crisis.
UK told you can’t have your cake and eat it.
Johnson ignores scientific advice and backs Big Business.

Quite amusing to see how one little change of letter can result in a word's meaning becoming practically the opposite of the original...
