From what I understand from friends (I don't have any tattoos myself), Mark Stronge has an excellent reputation. Top end of Bruce Street.
Can't remember the name of the place.

Creation in Bruce Street. Mark Stronge is a brilliant artist. Lengthy waiting times for an appointment though.

Go to blue box. There are 4 tattooists there now who all specialise in certain areas. DO NOT go to pagan ink in brucefield. That guys stuff is awful. Like children’s doodles. My mate is covered in his stuff.

I have yet to meet someone who 20 years later doesn't regret getting a tattoo.

Well, I've had my Metallica Ninja Star tatt for 24 years. Never regretted it for a minute.

I've got 4 tattoos, all from over 20 years ago and don't regret them either. The only thing I regret is that one of them seems to have lost its 'sharpness' at the edges.

That’s pretty much normal after a while. Best thing to do with tattoos is keep moisturising them even after they heal. Always protect it from the sun too, again, even after they heal. Look after them and they’ll stay vibrant for much longer. Coconut butter is probably the best thing to use in my experience.

Mark Stronge is a very good artist. If you are going to get a tattoo, he is the guy you would want to do it.
Have a good think about it first though, I've yet to see a tattoo that doesn't make me think "what a waste of skin". I always find tattoos tend to be a blot on the flesh of a 'look at me' type

There's a guy called Ellis from Darger tattoo, not sure whereabouts in the town they are now as I think they've moved. I've not had one from home but his stuff is brilliant, as is the other artists who work from that shop.
