Awwww geeez. Diana Rigg has died at the age of 82.
For a generation of lads growing up in the 1960s, there was no sexier sight than Emma Peel in The Avengers.
RIP pretty lady.

Ah that's poop news. RIP. Was a bit of a legend and was still putting in top performances in GoT.
Avengers was a classic. If you grew up in the 80s/90s you got the reruns so we didn't miss out.

Honor Blackman as Cathy Gale was a hard act to follow but Diana Rigg managed it. It was never the same after she left I remember it took me a wee while to twig that Emma Peel was a play on the words 'M(an) Appeal'.

Anybody remember her in “Mother Love” about 30 years ago - she was outstanding and deservedly won an award.

Piece of trivia, her second husband was nephew of the founder of the SAS.
