Too much depressing news these days. Apart from your family and the Pars (sometimes), what makes you blissfully happy???
It.s early evening here in Oz. It has been a nice day and I have just opened my second bottle of Leo beer. I am listening to a bootleg recording of Pink Floyd playing at the Montreaux Festival in 1970 and I am in heaven...

Haha VEE. It.s a Thai beer that I am very fond of. My local Aldi store is selling 12-packs at a ridiculously low price. Hence my bliss... that and the early Pink Floyd!

Music of almost any genre. Fire the headphones on (try to be a mindful neighbour), crack open a beer and crank up the volume. Enjoy.

It has been such a long wait.
Because of lockdown, I last visited a pub in June.
I have just been for two pints of Guinness and a very nice lunch at my local pub, the Pig & Whistle. It was blissful.
I am in a very cheerful mood...

Cheers (pun intended) for the intelligence report. A new one on me.
Now developing a taste (literally) for a new Williams Brothers (local brewer) offering "Talking Heads" - a very acceptable session ale using American hops.
Thanks to Ebay I.ve found a couple or so George Jones duet CDs, an eclectic mixture of artists - Keith Richards is on two separate albums.

Local-ish but Lidl does a good session ale brewed by Stewart's Brewery. Aldi were selling another Stewart's session ale as part of a beer event. It was in a multi-coloured can I reckon it was identical to the Lidl one. Very drinkable.

I.ll have a look for that.
Williams Bros. has another new one "Tin Man" which I.m keen to sample.
Seems Sainsburys is the only supermarket outlet at present - and I shy away when I see their prices.
"Talking Heads" £1.49 in Lidl..........£2.30 in Sainsburys !!!

Lidl seem to have done away with the Stewart's session ale (was 99p a bottle recently) and replaced it with another Stewart's Ale.

I clocked Stewart.s in Morrisons this afternoon £1.80.
A special offer 8 pack of 500ml Old Speckled Hen £10.
A no brainer.

I must admit that I thought they were just a French football team that played Celtic back in the Sixties, but no. St Etienne also is famous for its brewery...
I bought a 12-pack at Aldi this week. And what a fine beer it is! Very easy on the palate.
Cheerful again...

Also did - Only Love Can Break Your Heart (cover of a Neil Young song and gained a bit of popularity with ravers for some reason) and He's on The Phone which was a Lorenzos staple in the mid to late 90s. A terrible song that hasn't aged well.

I like a beer as much as the next guy but it is possible to be cheerful without resorting to alcohol. I.m just back from a bracing walk and I.m also cheered by what.s happening in the States!

Seemingly the retail parks in Dunfermline are busier than ever as folks *technically* can't go to Livingston.
