Come on. That's harsh. I'm no monarchist but it's not them that chooses this nonsense. Just look at the treatment of (Prince?) Harry after deciding royalty was rubbish.

I think we`re being prepared for his end.
That will not worry many media persons who have had to suffer his legendary rudeness over the years.
The bigger issue is that the Queen may suffer a reaction to his death. That leaves an unpopular Prince Charles with an even more unpopular wife as next in line. No great enthusiasm that can be confected by the tabloids there I suspect. And the livelier son of Charles has turned his back on the country.
No one under 80 years old can remember when the Queen was not the Head of State and when that ceases to be, even hard boiled republicans will be surprised at the psychological shift that occurs.

Shouldn't we be privatising that stuff?

I didn't report it, but it was rather crass. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but he's still a human being at the end of the day.

Hopefully Liz and Phil are the end to the line of Benefit scroungers. Will always have respect for Harry for ditching them

Let's face it, it wasn't Harry who decided that. That was Meghan's decision and he followed on.

Philip has had a very good life and reached 99.
Many, many people, arguably much more deserving, achieve neither

We are told he is in hospital as a 'precautionary measure'. The hospital has quoted that visiting is only allowed in 'extraordinary circumstances'. How then, is his son allowed to visit him? And to make a round trip of 200 miles to do so?

You`re still thinking that it`s not one rule for us and another for them?

I`m reading between the lines that he is more sick than is being made out?

No. My thoughts are 1. I haven't seen any criticism from any news outlet (probably not a surprise) or 2. Maybe what Sammer alludes to is the case i.e. his state of health is worse than is being made out. (Edited to acknowledge Raymie beat me to that one)!
