My sister is deeply upset, Les was her first crush after being introduced to their music by yours truly. Confession - I bought their first album - only mitigation was I was very young. Anyway I soon moved onto new wave/punk. They certainly burned brightly for two or three years.

Funnily enough, a friend of mine said the same about them playing multiple times in Dundee before they became famous. Never my cup of tea, but fair dos, the Bay City Rollers certainly made their mark on the ‘70s pop scene.
