Fabulous comedian sadly passes away after a battle with cancer. A very funny and nice man that never failed to make me laugh that will be missed.

This has hit me really hard. Everything awful has just flooded back in my head. As a fellow melanoma patient, his journey is very similar to mine. Beat it apparently, everything was/is fine and then, it comes back with a lethal vengeance. I'm currently in the "is fine" catogery, but when things like this happen, it's so difficult to not think that it's only a matter of time before this fvck er, returns.
So, so sad. RIP Sean

Agreed. It is difficult for anyone or their families to use an all clear as an all clear.
Cliche or not, all we can do is enjoy every day that we're granted. I've cheered myself up by watching the carrot in a box champion in action.
I lost the last 3 months of last year and didn't even realise that John Sessions had passed away until I looked at the end of an obituary to Sean Lock.

Shamefully under-rated. The original radio series is also pretty good. Makes me smile just thinking about some of the dialogue. I'm sure it was only ever shown on BBC3 back when few people had digital TV.

Really gutted about this too. Loved him on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Seen him at the fringe many years ago, his ability to keep a straight face while his audience were in hysterics was remarkable.
