 The Stranglers

With all the gloom and doom at the moment, it was a nice surprise to see this video pop up on my youtube. It is a new single by The Stranglers, with a very edgy video starring ex-footballer Stuart Pearce mouthing the lyrics.

The song itself is unmistakably The Stranglers and I think it sits pretty well with their earlier vintage work.

Thanks for that Oz. One of my favourite bands. It's a wee bit light on the keyboards for me but I think it'll be a grower.

Alas “Dark Matters” will be the Stranglers swan song, it’s a fine album and a fitting tribute. I will miss them immensely when they are no more - the soundtrack to my life.
