Soon boys
If lawmakers approve the measures on Thursday, all workers will have to show proof of vaccination, testing or recovery before entering their workplaces from 15 January.
recreational and leisure activities, such as bars and restaurants, will no longer be possible simply by showing a negative test result. Visitors must instead be able to prove they have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease
Anyone who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons will be issued an exemption certificate.
(None of this “I am exempt and you don’t have the right to ask me” bollocks)
Businesses will be given powers to carry out identity checks to verify the details on a Covid certificate, and refuse entry to those who do not comply.

No chance of those sort of rules ever being implemented here. The unvaccinated will be allowed to continue to work in jobs where they pose least risk (as in not healthcare positions) but they won`t be completely barred from employment.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

A lot of companies can work from home now so wouldn’t be an issue for me.

You wouldn`t need to according to what Lux has posted. You`d just to evidence having done a test so you wouldn`t need vaccinated. Surely everyone (vaccinated or not) should do a regular test just in case?

Sorry missed the word testing in the post.
I wouldn’t want to test daily to just get into my office when i have proven more than capable of doing the job at home for two years now, I’d rather just stay at home.
On the odd occasion where I may have to go in for whatever reason yes would test beforehand as I would if I’m going out for drinks or whatever.
I have absolutely no issue testing when required, just don’t want to be forced to take a vaccine.

I think everyone should do that in the current situation anyway. I have a friend who has a parent in hospital. He`s a bit older so is double vacc and booster. He still does a test before going for a visit as he doesn`t want to risk spreading it round a hospital.

A noddy question coming so apologies in advance.
But proof of test would be a lateral flow right, how would that work in practice, you just take the test with you and show the no line…there not flaws in that, what’s stopping someone from just taking a test that the wife took that was negative for example, what’s stopping someone from using the same test all the time?
Unlike the PCR where you get a confirmation text that you are negative which seems a little bit more robust.

Personally think that`s why the lateral flow testing requirement doesn`t work. Anyone could fire the solution into the device without actually shoving the stick up their nose first.

Tbh, I imagine people might do the opposite in terms of going to the office, Berry! Add. About of apple juice and hey presto you can`t go in as your positive.

Nobody says you can`t wait till the trials turn out of you are so concerned. I suspect even then though Rasta you won`t get the jag
As for trying to compare yourself to the murdered victims of the Holocaust, well I`ll be generous and ask you not to be so ridiculous.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

It`s coercion into taking a treatment that is still in testing period jntil the end of 2023, a product that has been granted 65 years to report on adverse effects....what`s so extreme about wanting to see how the trials turn out?
Let`s cut to the chase, how far are you from having us in camps and executions?
That`s quite some leap.
What is being suggested in Lux is that people will need to evidence vaccination or a negative test. My view is ALL should provide evidence of a negative test at this time.

In answer to your questions on camps and executions I will answer as no one has as of yet - never ever ever will that happen and if anyone actually believes that to be a realistic possibility here then they are clearly deranged or have a slender grasp on reality and I would implore them to seek help and counselling.

One of the few people lowering the tone of this website is you Rasta.
Your inflammatory and vile references to the Holocaust is frankly vile. They are insulting to all the souls who lost their lives ~ not just in the past, but in current times too.
We are all aware of your opinion and stance on the vaccine and the virus.
To compare guidelines and the safety of all to Nazi Germany is beyond comprehension and I can only assume you’re doing it for attention.
Please, consider your words before hitting the post button.
Take care.

He’s clearly not well and should go and speak to someone - similar comments in effects on football thread. The last 2 years have been mentally difficult for everyone and some are just not able to cope so should have our sympathy as they break down.
