Is Elsie the Selfie hoisting a Union Jack at Bute Hoose and other govt buildings?
She only allows it to be flown once a year from govt buildings up here, on Remembrance Day only. If it wasnt for 2 World Wars it wouldn’t be seen at all.
The EU flag flies up her poles every day, even though we ain’t in it and it was Europeans that caused the two world wars.
You couldn’t make it up…

Yo really are obsessed by NS in a rather unhealthy way I would suggest.
So in answer to the question in my opening post ?
I am sure a die hard Brit like yourself will be attending a street party with bunting , Union Jacks fluttering and renditions of the dirge, maybe not. But feel free to share.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Pathetic stuff parboiled
Seeing as you want to talk about the war:
https://youtu.be/Mg9E3rDHztQ
…and to answer your question, I’ll not be partaking in any Union Jackery and would disband that particular organisation tomorrow if it was up to me. To paraphrase Tony Benn, it’s them along with and the associated privilege and patronage that’s what’s wrong with this country today

I`ll be working to support the many homeless people we still shamefully have, despite having £28 million in public money to spend to celebrate one old woman whose biggest achievement in life was to fall out of the right genitals.
That`s straight off the back of allowing said lucky old pampered woman to spend £12 million in public money to protect her nonce son.
The enemy travels by private jet, not by dinghy.

Apparently I have been neglecting my house maintenance tasks and I will be literally screwing up IKEA furniture. It is more joyous than listening to the odious bile that will be presented across the cooncil TV. The mrs will be watching the tennis and inspecting my work of course.

Sorry to disappoint you but there was a poll of the worst anthems done and FoS was nowhere to be seen but the anti -Scottish dirge was right up there..
You still have not enlightened us as to how you will be celebrating .........being reigned over. Or being pissed over ...to be more accurate.

On the subject of absentee Jocks - didn’t take former Tory Scottish leader Ruth Davidson long to accept a seat in the House of Lords.
Baroness of Lundin Links - you couldn’t make it up.
I wonder where she bides “down the smoke” - near Michelle Mone perhaps ?

Did anyone else read about the school children in Orkney being forced to carry 70 Butchers Aprons down to the harbour to welcome a cruise ship...that in itself is bad enough......however they were also wearing bowler hats FFS !
Since when were bowlers synonymous with Scotland ? All that was missing were the Orange Sashes....
Of course the Queens representative ...some lady muck... was there dressed in military regalia.......
Mhari Black was right.........fascism is well on its way......aided and abetted by the Royal sycophants who still call themselves proud Scots....
STV showing a picture of a town in Scotland bedecked in red white and blue bunting.........Only problem was the town was hundreds of miles away in Devon.
Most sensible folk in Scotland will give this whole farce a wide berth.
No doubt BBC and STV (Under orders of course ) will be filming the odd enclave of Royalist Street Party`s and portraying Scotland as equally enthusiastic about it all as Englanshire is..........LOL
Anyhoo Hardboiled..........still waiting on you sharing your plans for the big day.
Not shy are you ?
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

All these celebrations display is how out of touch the royals are. The country is on its knees, the environment is screwed and we have an energy crisis. But let`s stop for a day to spend millions on plastic tat to celebrate a woman who was pointlessly looping London in a private jet yesterday.
I genuinely cannot fathom the fawning over her and her family. I`m sure they`re lovely, but why on earth do they still have any power or relevance in the 21st century?

like any family, some will be decent folk, some will be not so nice which is why I can’t believe we have an unelected, hereditary head of state.
Also like any other family, they’ll be a product of their environment, which in their case is inherited wealth, privilege and entitlement

Found this from a blog earlier, you couldn`t make it up .Button down the hatches folks we`re in for week of torture
I trust we have all got our Union Jack underpants on as we approach the royal jubilee media onslaught that’s coming our way.
And to start the **** show here’s an extract from yesterday quoting the great spiritual leader the Very Reverend Justin Welby.
” The Archbishop of Canterbury has told ITV News that Prince Andrew is “seeking to make amends” having settled his sexual abuse lawsuit and we must “learn to be a more open and forgiving society”
And there we have it. In tribute to our Queenie we have to learn, yes that’s right folks, learn to forgive our paedophilic abusers. Certainly tells you all you need to know about royalty and the establishment.
Sir Jimmy Saville OBE was an abuser, Rolf Harris OBE was an abuser, Stuart Hall OBE was and abuser and the latest Prince Andrew was an abuser. All part of the establishment, all honoured by the Queen, this statement tells you all you need to know.about the monarchy and it’s adherents.

The Greens believe in an elected head of state. Wouldn`t it have been hypocritical of them to attend a session celebrating the monarch? There are still some politicians with principles who don`t follow the example set by the ruling party at Westminster.

Can I just say that this of changing someone’s name to be insulting is getting a bit boring now - and it happens across the board
It debases any argument that you might be trying to make.
Didn’t realise the greens were Republican and stayed true to their ground - will gladly give them my vote in the future as they are clearly reflecting my view with regards to the constitution and monarchy
