 Potholes

Well the roads around us are disintegrating, even that quiet town called Kingseat has a Main St that would win an award just now!?

Meanwhile Fife Council have just won a court case over damages to a car, a £1K repair bill from some years ago.

Newspapers are saying that it has cost Fife Council/Ratepayers £10K to defend this claim, REALLY????🤔😲😱💩💩💩

I would have thought the losing party would bear the costs of the Council in a civil action ?

I reported on council website the potholes outside my door had nearly caused a cyclist to come off his bike. Filled in within 3 days and 2 mth later road was resurfaced.

On the other side of the coin.... There was a largeish pothole right outside ma hoose... Reported it.
It took 4 months for them to fix it... And they done a really bad job of it too.

Surely it`s for preservation long term though? Don`t defend it and be inundated with future claims, well above the reported figure to defend it.
