I see he`s been released after serving only 8 months of a 30-month sentence for offences under the Insolvency Act. I thought you had to serve at least two-thirds of your sentence before being considered for release or is it different if you are to be deported as is happening to him?

Hopefully he is a reformed chracter and set for an honest future. Any more backhanders and he won`t just get a volley across his bough he'll be straight back in the slammer.

Saw that Eck.
Only had a brief skim over the transcript so might be loosely lost in translation but couple of bits got my attention.
He claimed alcohol was available but he didnt`t partake; assuming it must be contraband or smuggled in as surely not even an open or lowest category prison would have that on offer..
Also interested that he was in a prison dedicated to foreign nationals who fall foul of the law over here. Suppose there must be a fair few but never imagined enough to have their own prison. Every day is a school day !
