The Specials were the first band I ever got into. For the first time I felt that music was for me, was relevant to me in any way. As a result they had a huge and profound influence on my life, I would be a very different person today if The Specials never existed.

I obviously knew most of his more well known work but he was involved in some amount of other music. Obviously a very talented individual. RIP
