I have finally caught this thing. Tested positive on Tuesday at work. I did feel rather s#***y tbh. Feel fine now so only 4 days feeling below par.
I assume I must have a mild case then ?
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I`ve had it 3 times the first before the vaccination was brutal.
The next have been heavy colds that seem to last weeks

It does seem to be receding now though with many areas of Fife showing cases in penny numbers.

Did you have the vaccine ?
I feel having the vaccine improves the situation and you don`t have a bad bout if it.
However, there are some reports that that vaccine can cause some issues to people, like all medicines. But the overwhelming use of it has made the situation much better ?
Another conversation that may take some years to resolved, I`m sure the medical people will learn from such events.

Yeah im fully vaxed up.
Had a word with the nurse down at the wee portacabin behind Rosyth institute where they were handing out testing kits and she said it was fairly common for no symptoms to show.
So technically I still had covid when i went back to work after the ten days as i was still testing positive for a further 11 days.

Covid is rampant again in the uk. We have more cases this week than at the height of the pandemic. Perhaps other countries should be closing their borders to us?

Bore off with the whole Covid panic. Life’s close to normal again despite the earth shattering stats. Don’t leave the house of your worried again by it
No Covid panic here. I was just pointing out that we’re already riddled with it here ( with no need for restrictions) so no need to worry about China “spreading it around”. It’s probably why we aren’t screening people coming in from China. What’s the point?

Two flights from China landed in Italy yesterday with over half of the passengers testing positive for covid.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

The Chinese government are now claiming that only Chinese citizens were tested and threatening reprisals. Italy said all incoming passengers from China were tested.
You pays your money..... I know who I believe. 🤔
I wonder how many of the passengers who tested negative on landing would have tested positive 2 or 3 days later.

My wife and I have had this flu/respiratory bug over Christmas and New Year, finally got to speak with our doctor yesterday and she advised that it can take up to 6 weeks to clear your system.

I suspect that I`ve had a minor version of the respiratory thing for three weeks now: bad cough, headaches and reduced energy. Not enough to justify taking time off though.

I remember old days, Doctor “Billy” Henderson of Inverkeithing who seemed to be on call 24/7. These days you’d need to book ahead for your death certificate…
