If you like your craft beers then Krafty Fine Drinks in Kirkcaldy has loads. Often can`t get Vault City beers in Dunfermline as they sell out quick, well Krafy Fine Drinks stocks them in abundance. Also a great stockist of Gins.

Surprised you struggle to get Vault City in Dunfermline. The Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant in the Maygate always has a good stock of them and gets the new releases straight away. I should know, I’m in there every week!!!

I see Harviestoun in Alva are in contention for a top prize for their fine "Schiehallion" lager - continuing the Wee County`s long tradition of excellence in brewing.
On draught in our local hotel - luvely jubbly - although I prefer "Bitter & Twisted"
https://beertoday.co.uk/2023/08/10/harviestoun-schiehallion-award-0823/
Then there`s Williams Bros. four miles down the road in Alloa - another major league craft brewer with a whean of awards to their name.

Williams Bros kept me well watered during the pandemic. As said above, Caledonian Beer Merchant on the Maygate is well stocked, got a few cans of Vault City on Saturday. Colin the owner will look after you, and point you in the right direction if you`re not sure what you want.

Bitter and Twisted is on tap at the Hillend Tavern, along with Cromarty stuff.
The shop at the top of New Row has a nice small selection of local crafts, german beers etc.

Williams Bros brew some superb beers
I don`t quite get all the added citrus and zing and fruit flavours to beers TBH
My Fav just now is PaoloZzi Lager from the Embra beer factory .. It is probably the best balanced lager for my pallet .. £1.89 in Aldi 500ml 5.2%

Aldi have some decent German beers in bottles at the moment for Oktoberfest.
Spaten Pilsner, Franziskaner Wheat beer, and Paulaner Munchen being some great examples. All decent prices too.
You do need to shop around and get a few when they`re in though as they disappear quick as folk buy them by the crate.

I`m not really a fan of wheat beer either except for Blue Moon and the above mentioned Franki.
Spaten is amazing, I love this on my Perfect Draft, along with Hertog Jan. Two absolutely majestic beers.

Weissbier is an acquired taste - Erdinger the best IMO - doesn`t quite have that "banana" aftertaste you find with other brands.

I have the Hertog Jan Grand Pilsener keg in my machine just now. Not tried it yet, I’ll see what it’s like tomorrow. I’ve had the machine for about 3 years now. I’ve had a few favourites during that time. Camden Hells is my current favourite.

Are you on commission? Better going to juniper in New Row or the Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant in Maygate, supporting Dunfermline businesses than giving money to folk Fae Kirkcaldy

You`ve got me there buffy. I`m trying to promote local business wherever that may be. It`s a tough time for them all and I take my hat off to their endeavour, and will do my bit if I can.
PS. The folk that run Krafty are, like me, not from Kirkcaldy. But it's home now.
