We take out to someone in blairhall- but it’s an expensive hobby…

There is a dog groomer in Glasgow that does a groom your own dog course, which shows you how to do it yourself - might worth thinking about or at least make a fun Christmas present

The Dog House in Rosyth, Claire did a great job on our dog.

This is where owning a cat becomes a preferable option; they groom themselves, and it doesn`t cost you a brass farthing.

Unless you’ve got a long haired cat! I’ve got a Persian cat (like Blofeld’s), and her fur gets matted if I don’t give her a trim regularly.

Ahhhhhh, short-haired cats are where it is at, Teddy boy... Siamese cats are a whole new level... :)

Tbh, I know you have to pay for regular grooming with poodle and poodle crosses,

…but as an ex cat owner, and ex owner of other dog breeds, I’m more than happy to pay that additional cost and not have hairs getting on furniture, clothes etc

Our dog cockapoo just doesn’t shed at all, and it’s brilliant

My clothes are plastered in dog hair. Given up trying to get it all off.
The dogs here seem to have double coats and they cast constantly. It took me hours to sort the house after a visit and cars are just furballs. No point spending a lot of time on it.

Many breeds in Canada will be double-coated, especially if they`re retriever type dogs.
