Sadly died of a heart attack aged 65.
One of the faces of the 1980`s who would always crop up in things and steal the scene.
Androids have feelings too....
RIP.

I saw him on Richard Herring`s podcast a few years ago and he had a pretty terrible time with his mental health throughout his life. For a few years he was the guy who everyone complained about being on TV too much. He seemed to do the voiceover for every advert and was on all the chat shows. Then he vanished suddenly. We didn`t know why at the time but he said that basically his bipolar disorder, and the copious quantity of cocaine he was using to self-medicate, caught up with him.
He was still a very funny guy, but that spark had gone and he seemed deeply unhappy.
I hope he`s found peace finally.

I saw him at The Fringe and his cocaine use was painfully obvious, like more obvious than a fella bouncing out a nightclub toilet, it was a sad thing to see.
No age and a timely reminder of men`s mental health and it`s issues.
I don`t wanna go down like disco.

Thats what happens when you stop using cocaine. Comedians should know better and keep using.
He was a fairly funny guy, back in the day, he was everywhere, then just disappeared. I actually seen this story pop up and was convinced it was an old story, I was sure he died last year. It was maybe John Sessions I was thinking of
