Didn`t think there`d be much British interest this year but I chanced upon the Jack Draper v Kokkinakis match. What a game that was. Unbelievable skill and stamina. And with Andy Murray in the Djokovic corner, it adds to the interest. But I do find myself slightly put off by players who bounce the ball up to 18 times before they hit a service. I think Sinner is the guy to beat in the men`s. But it would be great to see Draper get quite far into the draw.

Don`t forget the young Scot, Jacob Fearnley, who is also through to the third round.

Yes, Eck, he`s playing no.2 seed Zverev at 2.30am our time. Unless there`s a major upset, it would be hard to see him get through that one. But good to see another Scot competing in big time tennis.

He seems to have a great temperament. Come what may, he`ll make a few quid and improve his ranking.

There’s been a few upsets already, in both men and women

Yes, da no 1, he seems to have the grit determination of an Andy Murray. With all these 5 setters, he must run out of gas soon but so far so good. He`s great to watch.
Alcatraz next BPP. If he can pull that one off he will be in the big time.

No, he didn`t escape Alca(t)raz. Looks like his physical problems are even worse than our Andy`s became. Not good news for his tennis future.
