Small fry compared to the environmental restrictions coming.
Not to worry though, folks will lap it because of some inflated undereducated sense of virtue.

Maybe Fife Councillors will agree to a medical to determine if they are in the obese category and let their constituents know the results ?
Also apply this to all Council employees and issue an ultimatum - loose surplus weight or P45 time ?
Meanwhile, back in the real world……….

Haven`t most chippies done this already anyway? 😂
Fife Council are complete balloons though. Ever since they centralised most services to Glenrothes everything has gone to crap. Planners have little to no local knowledge and seem to be signing stuff off based on paper plans, the high street is a complete state and they`re ploughing on with that stupid square no-one wants, many of the roundabouts in Dunfermline look a state (compare with Glenrothes!). The biggest mistake was them signing off the complete mess that is the Kingsgate extension. The planners said it would create a dark, uninviting environment but it still got signed off. Guess what? The extension is rank! The car park is liable to collapse and Apcoa have been trying to get out their 25 year lease on it (still 8 years to go).

You know that dangerous stretch with all the fatalities (don`t think ive ever even heard a car beep its horn on that stretch). Meanwhile the standing stane....

Problem with the Standing Stane isn’t the road, its the halfwits that think they are Lewis Hamilton in F1 cars not being able to drive properly.
The latest government claim is that large parts of the country will be without drinking water in a decade - I mean, come on…….they already steal enough of our water as it is……

That`s maybe because Ben n Jerry are supporting the people of Palestine, and they are now currently subject of a boycott by genocide supporters

MSPs have now voted through on the smoking ban.
They do this knowing the figures show us Scots have a penchant for using banned stuff.

Of course not, you want to smoke, smoke. The risks are well documented.
Next it will be alcohol then I`d normally say "unhealthy" food, but the Fife Free State are already on the way to doing that.

Nothing wrong with the standing stane I have driven it every day for the last 20 years it’s perfectly safe it’s the idiots who use it that are the danger

"If you don`t like it you can always live somewhere else" used to be the right wing mantra whenever somebody criticised the UK`s way of doing things. what happened to that attitude?
Is it hiding in the same place free speech goes whenever Gary Lineker opens his mouth?

Gary Lineker was a freelance journalist not directly employed by the BBC so entitled to his views on social media issues.

I don’t appreciate having my opinion edited to suit your agenda mate.
Whether you agree or not with him he is a freelance journalist and the only reason he was still with the BBC for as long as he was.

They are not banning smoking. They are only banning the sale of it to anybody born after 2009 which is a good thing. It`ll stop all kids just about to turn 16 from being legally allowed to smoke.
I know if they`re desperate enough that they`ll find a way. Getting an older pal to buy them for them and other such means.
As for chippie portions, you already have the option of a small portion if you want it. If you live in Kelty where the chippies are bogging if you buy chips, you`re lucky if half of them are edible. Yuck. Even fish tastes a bit dodgy to me now, I don`t know what that`s about. Nowhere near as tasty as when my gran would take me to dunfermline for fish n chips. You`re better off making it yourself if you can cook. Stinks the hoose oot though.
