 Comedians

I think Billy the Big Yin is widely recognised as the best comedian.
I think he is certainly one of the funniest story tellers but he frustrates me sometimes.

I just watched some classic Dave Allen. I think he has to be one of the best.

Who are your favourites and what`s your favourite offering from them.

Might get a wee chuckle here.

I once saw Billy Connolly in concert at the Sydney Opera House.

He came onto the stage to huge applause, and then spent a couple of minutes in total silence, carefully peering at every corner of the auditorium. Eventually, with hands on his hips, he said:-

"Sydney Opera House, eh? Well, I`ve played some toilets in my time..."

He got banned from CH Dunfermline for making a similar comment about it when performing in CH New York.
It`s on his Atlantic Crossing album.
We got a delegation from New York come and check the place out.
