 Who`s a lucky boy then? πŸ€”

My neighbours have had a couple of herring gulls nesting on their roof for the last 3 years. The parent birds are very wary of people walking past the house and often swoop down and squawk noisily overhead as they fly past.
I`d heard that they sometimes drop regurgitated food or even $h!T on passers by, but until today, it was only hearsay. Mrs Riva told me it`s lucky. How come I don`t share her opinion? 😑

I might feel a tiny consolation if any other posters have had a similar experience and whether getting pooped on was immediately followed by a large lottery win. πŸ˜€

Some freaks out there would pay good money for that!

I would definitely suggest buying a lottery ticket, if it is only to wipe that seagull shect aff you.

I got pooped on by a gull on my first day of my first job when I was 17 ..... I stayed in that job for 31 years.
Make of that what you will.
Now I`m not saying that the poop gave me luck .... And I was raging at the time of the said event.... Cos it was everywhere and it took ages to clean masel up ....but you never know .πŸ’©

I must be really unlucky because folk I`m standing next to keep getting hit.

Last week I was walking with a colleague and noticed a dod of luck splatter on the ground a foot or so to my right. I turned to mention it to my colleague walking on my left, but she was too busy freaking out because she`d got some in her hair.

The seagull had sh@t in such a way that it split in two and landed either side of me without any hitting me.

Must be why I didn`t win the Euro millions.

A work colleague i was with in Cardiff got destroyed by gulls years ago. It was one of the funniest things I`d ever seen. He felt it had hit him, but turned to me and calmly asked me to confirm if "that bird just shat on my back"?

It looked like a tin of paint had been emptied on his back.

I replied "aye, a wee bit...."
