Does anyone know if the USH is on? If so, can it cope with temperatures of -4C which is the overnight forecast? Mist seems to be another threat in the latter part of tomorrow afternoon.

I thought it was fixed after failing during the Festive Season last year for the home game against Falkirk?
Comments on East End Bounce forum suggest it is working (source - Kev the groundsman!) but not clear when it was being switched on.

Whether it`s true if the USH is on/working, the club has a duty to make sure fans are kept aware of potential call offs. I know they won`t know for sure, but maintain a clear means of communication. Some fans travel far to support the club and should be entitled to be kept informed. They can then make a choice to travel or not.

They could, but if there was a real doubt about the game going ahead, it would be good PR if the club made an early announcement to spare far away fans making a futile journey,

The communication, especially via social media, has really went down since Mikey left I think. We do put out tweets but they are automatically scheduled ones, and ad hoc information is fee and far between. Even a tweet saying "USH is on, but given the cold weather, keep.a close eye on our social media and website for up to date information" would go a long way.

Agree with the above. There should have been at least a message to say "no pitch inspection planned" or the likes.
Obviously that could change, but given other games are already off it isn`t really that hard to do.

Been a while since there was a call to arms to clear the pitch, but in all honesty it`s usually the surrounding areas which scupper things.
I`d suggest it just won`t be safe for fant to get to East End on foot.
