Listening to his interview and he looks genuinely delighted to be here. Experience in the middle of the park with a decent cv. Hopefully works out for us. Happy with this one.

Good solid signing in my view. The Leyton supporters thought alot of him and still thought he could do a job for them when he left. Some supporters hope to see him back in a different capacity at the end of his playing career. Speaks volumes for me that he hung around like others on the hope of signing. That`s the type of player we need and indicates there is a good group of players and positive dressing room. Look forward to seeing him.
I think we have come out of the other side in terms of a bad spell. It makes you stronger at the end of the day. The signs are good.

Interesting that he said the manager told him he wanted to sign him after 4 or 5 training sessions!

That wasn`t my point, Raymie, it was that it has taken so long to get the deal done.

We should have a decent bench tomorrow with Mehmet, Breen, Fisher, Chalmers, Cooper, Clay, Todd, Wighton, O`Halloran, Sutherland all likely to be available.

Welcome to the Pars, Craig. I`m sure the younger players will benefit greatly from your experience.

I think we can now start looking up the table with some real confidence.

3 injuries, a sending off and a 3-0 defeat upcoming - with the new keeper throwing one in.

Just to keep us all grounded...

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,

Getting a good mixture of youth and experience throughout the squad.

From the comments on X, the Leyton Orient fans rate him so sounds like a good signing.

Good to see Craig signing. He will add experience and physicality.

If we can get a wide man in, even a good loan signing then I feel we will have a squad that should be capable of challenging for a top four spot…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

He probably played against Dundee and/or St Johnstone when he was at Motherwell (2016–2017) 😉🙃

No link to st j or Dundee? Maybe he’s finally cast the net further and actually found some players!

Clay has 15 goals in the best part of 400 games, another defensive minded player for a team who don’t score goals.

Wait, have you found a negative? You`ve been crying out for an experienced player, but then he doesn`t score enough?

I`m shocked.

If we keep bringing in and playing players who don’t score goals do you know what will happen?

Clay might well be better than others in there but it’s attaching players we need if we’re actually going to win games.

I`m no glueologist, but I`m pretty sure attaching players will not improve our movement.

I get the feeling that unless we sign a Haaland esc player, Berkey won’t be happy.

Now if we could all put our knowledge together, I’m sure someone can come up with an attacking midfielder who scores 15 goals a season and a striker that will score 30 goals a season but please remember they will need to accept a wage commensurate with the Scottish championship and have absolutely NO previous affiliation or engagement with James McPake and also be available as they’re out of contract or are available on loan.

Many thanks in advance people 👍🏻

I think if we can keep Kane fit he could do a job at this level.

At this point we have 2 very ineffective players in the wide positions and they are playing as there’s really no one else.
