I know, I’d usually agree but looking at the squad I think I may have played Chalmers as well. I don’t see enough output from Clay on the ball.

Oh well, first goal winner as usual.

Get Kane on.

KRH is getting a game as there’s no one else who can play that role, mcpake prefers having a squad stuffed with defensive midfielders rather than any creativity or pace.

We`re fkn rotten. Raith move the ball about miles better than us. We`ve created nothing except the McCann shot/Todd rebound.

Unless Raith **** the bed it`ll be 2 or 3 nil.

Never the keepers fault - the problem was having the two smallest players in the team on the side of the wall he was hitting it at…..whilst the other two are marking the post. From those positions should have your tallest players in the wall, never going to cross it.

It takes a special kind of manager to get to this point in the season and not have managed to get one single player to string together 2 decent performances in a row.

Pretty much every player is now out of form, mind you even if a fair few of them were in form it’s debatable whether they would still be good enough in this league.

Everyone including the players just hoping the new owners come in before the end of January and bring in a new management team with them.

Unfair to call McCann poor, it’s a standard McCann performance just that one in 10 games he just happens to score. Todd has scored some decent goals from midfielder but is he actually a championship level midfielder? Jury is out.

KRH has had injuries but it’s a big jump from league 1 to championship and not everyone makes it. Feels like he might just fizzle out.

Chalmers poor today and offering very little again, where does he go in the summer? There’s only part time teams below us.

Re cooper, well relying on him now when he was released by Stirling Albion in the summer….

What a mess, only positive thing is airdrie are even worse, if we can stay up we can release all this dead wood and start again.

The sad fact is they are not championship standard. Todd and KRH were outstanding in league 1, as was Benedictus and even bloody Mehmet! None of them have performed above a 5 out of 10 (being generous) and were nearly at Christmas. The manager is out of his depth, he doesn’t have the tactical nous to get turn games around. The board have utterly shafted us with their p*** poor planning and lack of investment in the first team. We’re asking for the likes of Sutherland and Cooper to drag us out the sh*t, if they weren’t at Dunfermline they’d be league 2 players without a shadow of a doubt. A very sorry state of affairs, we just need to pray Airdrie don’t pick up a few points.

Sack the manager before it’s too late, get someone in who will galvanise this shower of sh*te and scrape into 8th place.

Our board have put us in this position BUT McPake isn’t blameless. Had he actually thought about it, if he had the boys leaving the dressing room motivated every week he could have been looking at being the manager of a well funded championship team with a younger but experienced squad looking to push for promotion next season 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not there today but we have looked weak all season and desire, motivation and competitiveness is all now starting to be questioned where last season it wasn’t. That’s absolutely dire to me.

I left at about 85 minutes. Never done that.

Another absolutely honking performance. The players look like they met in the car park.

There`s zero hope for us. McPake has to go and we need to get a tune out of what reasonable players we have and sign for the gaps in January.

Still reeling from what a disgrace of a performance that was.

The sooner the club is sold and new owners are in to sack the management team the better.

I`ve been watching the Pars for a long time and never seen such rancid boring football served up week in week out. Fed up watching this absolute crap every week. Good luck to the club hanging onto any young fans getting into football and seeing this guff.

Recurring theme but if we lose the first goal it is essentially game over.

da I cant remember being so low watching the team ive supported for over 50 years .Yes we have had similar bad times but we had fight ,today there was no fight belief ,If you watch the highlights after both goals the players body language is thatbof players giving up .We cannot afford to have passengers today we had at least four. KRH Has done zero all season.McCann, Todd and Chalmers simply didnt turn up today .

We are absolutely dross. Complete lack of effort and fight as well.
Hosler was hiding the entire match, wasn’t interested. Matty Todd, McCann and Dapo absolute dross, stealing a wage.
Ngemya absolutely murder. Bene is done.

I don’t even like these players, they are all pretty much guff. Complete split from the players n management to the fans.
Mcpake has got to go but unfortunately we are stuck with him till we have new owners.

As some have said, sick to the back teeth of watching this absolute sh1 t , week in week out, management team included sh1 t, the majority of our squad is sh1 t. I’m past being angry now, more resigned.

Our squad is rank rotten. It is bad when we are hoping a signing from Stirling Albion can spring us to life during a match.

Really, Mcann will never be a baller at Championship level, neither will Mbude that’s why everyone else passed on him, KRH is bang div 1 level at best, Chalmers dull as dishwater as a player, Bene finished, Ngemwa (sp) Really!!!

Horrible all over the pitch.

I’m giving it a miss for the rest of the season now I’m so fed up with the club and team it’s making me itch.

No one person should be bigger than our club and that includes McPake .
The BOD should also be ashamed to allow this to have continued this far .I Like many other pars fans never want to see us get beat ,but when we do at least we can say we put up a fight but were beaten by the better team on the day .
I am no longer looking at games with a win mind set but that of were going to get beat werk in week out .

Going into games against part time teams and teams in lower leagues and we are not going in as favorites .

I feel if worse case scenario we do get relegated we would not survive, and remain in the lower leagues wilderness

Sad days

That was utterly pathetic today.
Couldn’t string two passes together or get through their back line apart from one chance in the first half.
No excuses at all and McPake really needs to stop this p*sh defensive lineups week in week out.
Complete and utter garbage from start to finish.

That was genuinely disgraceful today. I absolutely lost it at one point in the second half in a way that I haven`t done in years. And I don`t regret it. That feels about as bad as it gets.

The first half was poor, but although we weren`t really in the game, they didn`t look great either. Maybe a bit unlucky to lose the goal from the free kick as there looked to be a handball just before it, but after going a goal down the period from half-time until 2-0 was shocking. We had the look of a team who were 4-0 down with no hope of coming back. A single goal down and absolutely nothing - that`s just not on. The Rovers were terrible last time we played them but we probably surpassed that today.

We had the look of a defeated side throughout and looked resigned to losing from a long way out.

Most seasons you`ll get at least a few shockers and I`m always pissed off after them. But that was a different level today - I`m not an angry person generally and don`t usually feel that way even at the worst of games but did feel that today. It hurts seeing hte team I care about going downso pathetically in a derby.

It`s gone too far now, and there has to be change, even if it`s a temporary one.

There’s not a fan left who wants mcpake to stay. any due diligence by the new owners will tell you what needs done

The players don’t look like they care, quite a few don’t care I’m sure. Toxic combination or a number of players on the way down the leagues and not a single player on thier way up them.

Zero sympathy for mcpake, he tied his own hands when we got promoted with loyalty to players who had shown they were finished at this level and those players continue to eat a large chunk of the budget.

Massive changes needed when the new guy comes in, are there even any clubs we can loan the likes of McCann too? These players have traded for years on blind loyalty instead of anything they have done on the park.

We’re a new manager and a couple of decent signing away from finishing at least 8th, all hinges on if the new owners can get in the door while the window is still open.

That was an utterly despicable performance. Not unexpected obviously.

Otoo, Todd, Chalmers, Tobi, mcann, dapo all utter sh1te today.

Saying that I couldn`t accuse them of not giving effort wearing the shirt.

This is fully down to Mcpake. We have accepted pihs standards for years because we nearly died over 10 year ago. Support should be putting much more pressure on the manager and board or what`s left of it.

During the First Half, there was a point where I thought “this squad, these players, that manager…..they just don’t deserve these fans”. Time and time we pack stands, get behind the team and get let down with totally inept performances.

McPake and the players came over to applaud the fans at Full Time, they must hate doing that and they must hear and see the reactions. They must have family and friends amongst the crowd that feed back to them, and yet nothing change. We are awful, absolutely awful and the wins against Airdrie, Edinburgh and Hamilton may have deflected from that, but the fact remains. We have no patterns of play, no set play routines, nobody that can retain the ball and nobody that can carry it and make something happen. It’s just totally inept and it’s totally of McPake’s doing.

Fair play to the wee team, read comments they were a poor side….give me that level of poor any day. At least they have movement and desire, I said to my son that it was like we were down to 10 men, Raith just seemed to have a spare man every time and in Easton, they have someone that can make things happen, a player we are crying out for.

McPake’s time to go was months ago but yet, he is still here. The person who’ll inevitably take over from him has got some job on his hands because this squad is abysmal, and needs cleared from top to bottom. I’m still not convinced we will be a Championship club when this happens.

He has also defended the indefensible plenty of times.

Give us a break 😃

All he does is offer balance. It`s healthy. He never abuses anyone.

Who has abused him? 🤔

The usual suspects veering away down the road again.

Back on topic that was truly awful today, the club is rudderless and a shambles from top to bottom, McPake shuffling along for another week getting paid and the board sucking up what coin they can before the support completely collapses.

On the subject of the support, we`re all guilty, for me, as said by someone else, McPake should be getting hounded, made to feel uncomfortable, he`s taking the money and chucked in weeks if not months ago in my opinion. Yes he was fudged by the Board but where`s his professional pride?

McPake aside, some of those players, especially the senior ones should be embarrassed. We`re in deep trouble because most of them know full time football is up for them, that`s on them as well as the coaching staff.

I`d put a wager of Seaside League next year.

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

Said it many times , every team in this league looks sharper and fitter than our squad and it certainly showed today .

Where wee eck to tell us its not all doom and gloom and we are still only 1 point behind 8th?

Walking in the park, kicking stanes trying to come up with something I’m assuming

As a Pars fan I`d imagine he`s hurting like we all are.

Maybe he’s realising it’s no longer defensible?

He`s had a go at the team plenty of times.

He’ll be fine. Gie him a wee cuddle next time you see him tho

I`ve never met the man so that`s an odd thing to say. Just feel he gets an extremely hard time on here just for expressing his opinions.

Forum would be a worse place without him.

That’s a really weird thing to claim about someone you’ve never met

It`s not really. I enjoy the contributions he makes to .net. Certainly keeps some of you on your toes.

How does defending the indefensible keep me on my toes?🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve stuck up for McPake/individual players loads here without being argumentative and making snarky comments about the person making the post.

Who in that team is defo under contract for next season? Otoo? KRH? McCann has another year but there’s a break clause I’m sure I read so realistically they know they won’t be here next season. Kane has another season.

You think a few of them would be playing to try and stay full time but no they are just going through the motions and will continue the grift at another club next year.

If we end up in a playoff I can’t see many of these guys suddenly pulling their finger out, they will be more worried about not picking up an injury.

Sad times indeed. Thank god for airdrie, if they pick up a couple of wins this team will fold completely.

The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

Last year every time a player ended up injured I was concerned whether we could fill that gap. Now I just don’t care who gets injured because whoever comes in cannot do any worse than any of that lot today. Depressing times. It was a derby today and if players are not willing to place bodies on the line, then what’s the point. Stuck with a season ticket as well. No more away games as I have better things to be doing.

It should start next week. Boo and whistle as soon as he steps out the tunnel, sing for 90 mins telling him where to go. The apathy has to stop. Time to let him and those pr*cks on the board know that we won’t stand for it anymore.
