Manager from my work works at Kelty at weekends, says to keep an eye out on the news today……seems like it will be confirmed later on.

Any new manager is a risk but tidier seem a wee bit too much of a risk really seems like out of the frying pan into the fire I think it`s about time we all accepted we are a mid to bottom of the league team who might win league one now and again

I’m willing to give him a chance. I think we will see a better style of football and hopefully pick up enough points along the way?
We are in this position not because of Michael Tidser. Some people seem to forget this?
It`s bloody tough being a legend

Utter rubbish. Did you not see the potential this club has on Friday night? Whether Tidser is the man to restore us to where we could/should be is highly questionable but we have under achieved for years now due to bad board decisions and managerial appointments. If Falkirk can come from League 1 and be leading the championship without being awash with cash, why can`t we? Only difference is they have a manager who knows what he is doing, whether you like him or not.

Potential is all very well but if you don`t have the leadership to go wth that potential you will struggle

Which is why we need to appoint the right person. We don`t need to accept we are always going to be in our current position.

I can`t find anything in the news about Murray so it`s looking more and more like Tiddy is the man. At worst it`ll give the wee (er) team a further reason to hate us.
I wish both men all the best with their future endeavours.

Murray or tidser But sadly same players. Unless we buy swap in the new window
But if not, we have to change attitude and tactics. Thats where i get nervous Friday was good but we looked a lot less competent and were slightly fortunate.
So a lot comes down to players attitude to support manager. That might happen if we win a couple, if not I`m very nervous.

Friday for me was evidence that a well organised, well drilled version of that team with good tactics and counter tactics could compete in this league
Let’s hope whoever does come in and turn them into that

The 60’s? 🤔 Dunfermline? I’d have asked my grandad but he headed north a long time ago but my understanding of the 60’s was high league finishing, Scottish cup finals and Valencia, West Brom, Bratislava etc 🤷🏻♂️

Agreed, but Falkirk are currently the best team in the league. We just have to be better than one of Morton/Hamilton/Raith.

I don`t think the players attitude is a problem, there`s a different set up each week, and a player can score then find he is on the bench next game, impossible to work with.
I really feel being set up well and drilled is all we can hope for and need, and I can guarantee that`s exactly what the players want.

"Seems Ian Murray is also in talks about taking over."
According to one source he expressed an interest but Mr.Cook did not return the agent`s call.
That fits with what Ian Murray said on "Off The Ball" - he`s had no approaches.

Listened to off the ball on way to firhill.
Ian Murray asked directly if he has spoke to anyone. His answer was nobody. When asked about Dunfermline he replied he hasn`t spoke to anyone from Dunfermline.
