Colquhon obviously has a say in what players to bring in but the buck has to stop with the manager. He sees them in training every day and sets them up to play a certain way.

Of all the January signings, I would only keep the two who are contracted for the coming seasons, and perhaps one other, and send the rest back to their parent clubs. As was mentioned in another post, I think we signed quantity over quality.

Whoever was in charge of the January recruitment is to blame, not sure who it was but pretty sure it wasn’t Tidser.

The fans are to blame. We are all dinosaurs. We follow the outdated philosophy that to win you have to score at least one goal, and to score you generally have to be in the vicinity of the oppositions’s goal. We should be salivating about the number of passes made and ignore the fact that probably 1 in 4 are misplaced.
Wake up fellow Pars fans - the team is now trying to play ‘the right way’.

Yes indeed parplod, glory in the possession stats. A thumping 57% last night. That is the real victory after all.

Cook 100%. As the saying goes “ Too many Cooks spoil the broth “ and we have one too many…Having a fiddler on the roof also has not helped, time him and his cohort were booted into the long grass…
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

You really think John Colquhon is picking the team and the tactics?
They’ve apparently used him as an advisor but if you’re able to read between the lines, he’s getting preferential treatment when it comes to signing his players. He’s a major player in terms of football agency in Scotland. I very much doubt he would be interested in the daily/weekly objectives involved in running a team. It would divert him from his usual ways to make money

As much as I agree that January wasn’t as great as we’d have hoped, I’d argue the squad is stronger post January. Okay, not everyone seems to be working out however the squad is bigger. Mullen has made a real difference. Connor Young looks a real young prospect. The rest only seem to be as good as anyone else in the squad. It’s up to Tidser to pick the best 11 for the opposition. He’s not doing that at the moment in my opinion
