No wonder we don`t score goals when you look at the shambles of our pre match shooting drills. Unopposed and half the time there`s no even a goalie and we still miss well over 50%. Hope to god the training is a bit more professional

Yaboah has done quite well in the first half harrying the Airdrie defence and generally making a nuisance of himself. I would say its his best performance to date.

Header that Kane cleared "off the line" looked well over to me. Tobi also made a decent stop low to his left, and Mochrie had a good chance early on. Todd had one shot straight at the keeper but other that that we`ve not done much. Yeboah has looked a bit more lively but still has no quality on the ball. Ritchie-Hosler has beaten his man a few times but hasn`t done anything with it. Final ball has been awful. Even some of the players who have been better in recent weeks - Clay, Chilokoa-Mullen and Fogarty - look well off it today.

Strange sub at half time. While I can`t argue for any of the players who came off staying on, taking Todd off and not bringing on a natural attacking midfielder like Cooper or Stevens seems weird. To be fair to Oakley-Boothe, he`s not been terrible today but I`d have rather seen Cooper coming on to run at them.

2 goals in the last 8 games, 4 in the last 12 is a shocking return and a minor miracle that we avoid the relegation spots (let`s hope the Hamilton appeal is rejected)
Fair play to everyone who has kept turning up every week with so little in the way of entertainment on offer.

Looks like we have done enough to stay up unless Hamilton have a very successful appeal.

We need a midfield/wingers with a bit of pace and quality in them too.
Even the most fantastic striker would struggle to score in that team because we simply don’t create decent chances.
The squad needs a big turnover and I’m looking forward to seeing who comes in in the summer.

We did what we had to do, and plenty effort.
Not a great game, and we know our shortcomings, but we got over the line.
Lennon certainly got us playing with more shape, and we did at least attempt to create. Not much more to add there.
Last time we had such a clearout was AJ in league 1, we will be having another, next season will probably also be tough with so many new faces, even if there`s some `names` brought in, but at least we will be trying to bring in players that will improve.
Good riddance to this season.

Lennon talked about Otoo playing 2 fantastic balls across the box.
One of them was easily intercepted by the defender, and the other should have been cut back to the `D` or the penalty spot as there was an incoming player in acres of space.

That was an absolutely terrible watch today, as it has been too many times this season.
Tobi saved our skin. Cooper again looked an intelligent footballer who could do something different. Hamilton made some great interceptions but his passing was poor.
So much wrong with that team individually, attitude wise (today), and in the way they play.

A poor game, to the suprise of absolutely nobody.
As we usually do, we had most of the first half play but did nothing with it. It sort of felt that we were on top, but our shape was a bit weird. Every time we lost the ball in the middle of their half we looked really exposed and, for all the ball we had, it did feel Airdrie were liklier to score than us. It seemed to be mainly that any starting positions were further up the park than normal, but it just seemed set up for Airdrie to break on us.
We didn`t really look in danger in the seconde half, though we looked vulnerable a few times when we tried to work a space, got pressed and left them able to attack into space. We could have won it near the end and a narrow win wouldn`t have been undeserved but a draw was probably the fairest result.
I`d give any MOM award to the ref today. He wasn`t terrible which is a big imporvement on referees we`ve had recently, but the most impressive thing was the compassion and empathy he showed by only playing 2 minutes extra at the end.

Tbh Otoo did play a couple good balls across the box and no one was there.
MoM was a hard one today, can see why Hammy got it because he came on and won plenty tackles and won a few free kicks to take the pressure off.
I thought Cooper was a bit of a manage when he came on and done well to get that shot away which the keeper saved.
Apart from that there was no stand out, thought Kane linked up well but seems off it a bit.
I got the impression the players believed we were safe before the game started and that’s the way the game was played.

Thought Hamilton and Oakley-Booth were good when they came on. Bene marshalled Fogarty and Mullen who I thought were both poor and KRH and Ngwenya don`t have what it takes to play as wing backs.
Kane was busy as usually and Yeboah just never seems to be in a position to use his speed. Cooper doesn`t do anything for me I`m afraid, looks afraid of his own shadow and reluctant to get stuck in.
Todd and Otoo just don`t work in there together and Todd seems t be running on empty.
There will be major changes no matter who comes in but at least Lennon seems to get results from a poor bunch. Two seasons in a row I.ve just wanted over as soon as possible. Onwards and upwards hopefully.

Pretty drab game and squad needs turned over. Too many players playing midfield that are defenders who can`t pass or control a ball in tight positions. It`s not their fault, just is what it is.
Was sitting in line with the goal in the main stand and the Airdrie one that was "cleared" off the line was miles in. Shocking officiating but we`ll obviously take it.

It’s already been said, but another abject display, but we never learned anything we didn’t already know eh??
It’s not the last time I’ll see this squad (I’m going to Morton) but I can’t wait to see the back of it, and days like today are a stark reminder of why. Plenty effort but very very little quality……it’s actually a wonder how we stayed up!
We were fortunate to get away with a point today. From where I was sitting, the Airdrie effort was way over the line, and Tobi has had to make at least 2 big saves, 1 in each half. On another day, that doesn’t happen and Airdrie leave with a 2 or 3 goal margin.
I’m not going to say much more. I’m delighted we have stayed up and I’m excited about the future, however, I can’t wait for the dismantling to be done because quite frankly, the majority of this squad aren’t fit to wear the jersey!!

The amount of people moaning about the standard of play is unreal. Don`t you get that the pitch is counterproductive to playing any kind of decent pay. Not to mention a cobbled together squad that is average at best.
I`m sure there will be a better standard of play next season, but don`t be expecting Barcelona/Man City style play.

Hope I wasnt reading too much into my observations but Neil was not his usual up and about them on the touchline today mostly sitting down ,also his interview seemed flat ,probably after watching a poor performance :):) First manager in a long time I look forward to hearing his say

I thought KRH was really frustrating to watch today. Did well to beat his man plenty of times in that first half but the ball into the box was rotten every time.

“The ref gets MOM. The most compassion and empathy was for only playing 2 mins extra time”.
The comment from Socks which sums up our season and on its own, deserves MOM.

I liked NL interview, certainly quite animated about the first half and the bit I liked was him talking about next season.
Won`t be easy, a big turnover of players, some might not work out etc. but he`s quick to recognise weak areas and work on them, he seems genuinely to enjoy the club.
Forward with the revolution!

He didn’t come onto the pitch to applaud the fans with the team either. Personally hope too much is being read into it, but I did find it strange.
Reading between the lines of his comments over the weeks, I think he’s staying, thankfully

Changing of the guards at East End was how I felt at the end of the game. Many faces we will not see at DAFC in the future and best of luck to them all. Even though it has been a hard watch, genuinely thankful that we have retained our position in the Championship and that is down to the players, no matter what people think of them. So thanks lads for your efforts and onward and upwards.

Just seen his YouTube video with Pars TV. Sounds like he’ll be about next year hearing that. Love how he’s looking to set the bar high and not accepting underperformance or lack of effort. He’ll have a mini clear out for sure.

It is largely down to Hamilton`s 15-point penalty at this point in time

The amount of people moaning about the standard of play is unreal. Don`t you get that the pitch is counterproductive to playing any kind of decent pay. Not to mention a cobbled together squad that is average at best.
I`m sure there will be a better standard of play next season, but don`t be expecting Barcelona/Man City style play.
It`ll still not be good enough for the Football Manager/Pro Evo legends on here.
It`s amazing how pretty much every team comes to EEP and creates 3 or 4 decent chances....we on the other hand .
Sooner most of this guff leave the better
Stop accepting mediocre pihs

Mr Lennon will be happy with his bonus and well deserved for keeping us up…
I think a job in the top tier like Dundee will suit him…
Mon the Pars!

Genuinely think it will be more than a mini clear out. I think that’s part of the attraction that convinced Lennon to come, a blank canvass in the summer and a healthy budget to build from.
Before January, the list of out of contract or returning from loan players was about 10, then there was the January splurge that were loans or deals until the summer…..that only leaves a handful of players that are under contract.

There are only two/three of the current crop I’d keep if I could, massive rebuild coming hopefully.

Today was my third and last Pars game of the season and I didn’t see us score a single goal. Two nil-one away defeats and a goalless draw.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I have a season ticket at Carlisle United, relegated today to the English non-league underworld.
Kill me now.
