So with the announcement of Lennon imminent and the new owners ready to spend big who do you think we`ll bring in over the summer?

Lennon has constantly bemoaned our lack of creativity so a couple of attacking midfielders.

First announcements will be Lennon, Tobi and Chilokoa-Mullen signing permanent deals. We have an option for a year with Chilokoa-Mullen but I`m told we are pursuing him for a long term commitment.
Jason Cummings has been mentioned, but quite a few Indian based X accounts appear to have him signing a contract extension. (Although nothing officially announced).

You may have read it in a negative way but I didn`t mean it like that. I just meant we need to see who we`re left with after the obvious departures and players going back to their loan clubs.
I`m not one of those that generally chastise the players, I don`t see the point in it. I believe we should cheer our players on, no matter how bad they may be playing. Booing them will do nothing for their self-esteem.

I would hope we can sign tobi up for a few years then mullan.
Hoping for some big changes across most of the team, I would be delighted if tobi, mullan and kane are the only ones in the starting 11 we recognise next season. Maybe otoo but after a poor season he’s got to prove he’s good enough to take us up a gear.
Comrie can be decent and is relatively dependable but again we need better if we want to push on. Would take for the bench tho.
Not sure who I would want to come, don’t watch or follow premier league football. Hopefully Lenny has some targets in place and it’s not all semi retired old Celtic pals like wanyama!

I`d imagine that a lot of the players people want rid of are actually very good, and will prove that when surrounded by better players. Also, most of them will still be recovering from feeling completely demoralised playing under McPake and Tidser. Lennon will completely change that attitude.
Only the manager will know for sure regarding the capability of the players as he sees them in training every day.
There is only one player I`d definitely want to leave but I won`t sat his name. I`ll give you a clue though. He`s a cold demon or a vampire because he doesn`t go anywhere near crosses.

Kozma, that’s nonsense, these players haven’t shown any glimpses of talent, what’s the point in keeping players who need better around them just to carry them?
Todd
McCann
Comrie
Chalmers
All regulars the last time we were relegated and haven’t improved as championship level players. Lennon has had quite a few games out of them now and none have raised their game and we still look like a crap team devoid of so much.
These guys are not good enough to even get us to championship mediocrity. We can be so much better, it’s time we acted like it rather than trying to get something from players who have have multiple chances and not done it.

While i don`t dispute that our squad needs upgrading and in particular to get more creativity and better finishing. We don`t have any chance of getting into the promotion play off places if we rarely score.
However that being said, based on the last 6 games since Neil Lennon came in we have with the current squad ended up "mid-table". Only
Raith and Livi have scored more points than us over that period. The 10 match form table makes less good reading.https://thefishy.co.uk/formtable.php?table=11&tab=tab-overall
Hopefully tomorrow our league safety is confirmed. Look forward to hopefully having Neil Lennon at the helm next season challenging for top 4 with a revamped and improved squad.

I think Lennon will realise our position in the league was due to lack of creativity in the final third. lowest scorers in the league 6 behind Airdrie.
If we want to play with wing backs comrie isn`t as effective as he is if he is right back and asked to just defend and he might address this if he decides to play a 5. Defensively we aren`t too bad sitting 6th in goals conceded.

Watch it ahoy, you’ll upset the champions of mediocrity who would quite happily go again with the same squad next season and somehow expect a different outcome.
They deem it more important to give players their 10th chance to produce something while we continue to struggle than admit others were right all along.

I know you`re being sarcastic, Berkey, but do you honestly believe there is even a single Pars fan out there who would be happy to start next season with the same squad? It ain`t gonna happen. The same squad would have us battling relegation again and the new owner has far loftier ambitions.

I would hope that all things considered NL will stay. He has a building job to do with us, but I think that`s a better option than potentially a Falkirk fire fighting job to stay in the Premiership or a Hearts job. He is very broadly welcomed here at EEP and respected for his achievements in the game. He can focus on the football rather than than be under the spotlight in any Hearts job.
Hopefully, he will stay and develop a team to compete for promotion next year. Sometimes, if the shoe fits, wear it. For sure, there will be contract negotiations ongoing, but a 3 year deal would be welcomed by all at the club, I would think.

If RUMOURS are to believed, he is paid handsomely by us, could Kilmarnock afford this wage??

That’s the worry about Lennon, although there are not many clubs in Scotland that might tempt him there will be plenty down south who can offer a lot more than us, even league 2 could pay more than us and have some bigger clubs. This doesn’t include many clubs on the continent either etc.
Not sure what the contract would be but hopefully there’s suitable compensation required should want take up another offer during the season. It will definitely be his team come August.

If he gets the nod to hire a couple of real quality forward players and a winger then I think he is on board. You can’t win if you can’t score and he has showed he can ensure we don’t lose too many goals.
