Good to see Hamilton retain his place and Matty get a start ( fighting after being told he could leave - love it)
8 on the bench so we are just starting to get stretched a bit.
That’s an attacking team.

The goals have come out of the blue, to be honest. Apart from a poor Todd effort, there hadn’t been any shots on goal from either team.
Two goals in five minutes should be enough to secure the points, even with a half to go. Airdrie don’t appear to have enough to peg us back.

Utter tosh. Nobody has said we are the same as last year, people have just voiced opinions based on games this year.
Brilliant work from Bray for the first, missed the second. Tod becoming a bit of a poacher! Ref was giving us nothing for a while, seems a bit more in latter stages of half.
Early goal in half would settle it, they’ve been pretty honking.

Although there were complaints about our midfield pre-match, I think they have held up very well. Hamilton is relatively quiet but effective, and as far as I can see, the much-maligned Oakley-Booth is playing very assured football. Bray is a delight to watch, and Caceres is showing some sublime skills, though his final ball sometimes goes adrift. Once again, our defence is strong. Mullen and Abdulai in the centre are solid, and out wide Kearney and Fraser are splendid. Robbie Fraser reminds me a lot of the late great John Lunn, who oldies will remember fondly. Up front, it looked a bit of a worry for most of the half, but once again, young Andy Tod brings a smile to our faces. Steady as we go in the second half and three points will be ours.

Munn still looks shaky so I hope Terrell bring subbed at HT was just precautionary and that he is back between the sticks at Dingwall..

The technical skill is what’s making the difference.
Yes we are more physical and forward thinking … but the wee triangles to get out and up is something we couldn’t do the last couple of seasons. There’s a couple not up to that but from keeper to striker most can ping a ball.
Team. That’s what’s happening. Team

1 goal per 103 minutes so far this season. Zak Ruddens is the best minutes per goal in the Championship so far this year at 94. McPake for St Johnstone has a goal every 115 minutes, then the fourth best is young Andrew Tod at 125 minutes. That 9 goals in 13 games this season. Good shooting

We could be in the top two by Christmas if we continue with this form. There is a tangible change in our play—genuinely impressive teamwork on display. The fluid passing, the determined closing down of opponents, and the eagerness to press forward rather than play across fills me with confidence about where we are going under Neil Lennon. Additionally, our strength in depth is being demonstrated by the current injury situation. Not much to complain about, really, except for the referee, who in the first half hardly gave us anything. In fairness, he did improve somewhat in the second half.
Very well done, Pars!

We seemed to be a bit more physical tonight, hunted in packs, sometimes 3 on 1. Varied our approach play , short and long balls. Didn’t do much wrong. More experience for the young players.

Really pleased with our performance tonight.
Wasn’t so confident seeing the lineup but after a slow start we totally dominated them.
Matty Todd is close to being back to his best and credit to him for setting up the second goal for Andy.
Never gave up on chasing the ball.
The aforementioned Andy Tod was my MOM tonight. Not only for his two goals but his work rate throughout.
Spoke to Charlie Gilmour at half time.
He took a knock on his knee but nothing serious but touch and go if he makes Saturday.
As bad as Airdrie were, we were superb in spells and training is certainly working.
Finally nobody is certain of starting a game so the competition for places is a real positive for us just now.

Get any kind of positive results at Dingwall and Ayr and I`ll be saying top four looks mighty achievable. Until then, I`m happy with the progress but keeping my feet firmly on the ground.
Was quite a strange game really, there was nothing much between the sides for the first 30 odd minutes and Airdrie were overrunning our midfield without putting Terrell under any great pressure. We didn`t get going really and were relying on individual moments of magic to create openings, which to be fair we did on a few occasions. Those individual moments really helped with the quickfire double for Tod just after that, first the great run (twice!) and cross by Bray and the lovely ball back into him by Cáceres. Then for the second, Todd somehow bringing the ball down and managing to cut it back into a dangerous area.
After that we were very comfortable. Airdrie knew they had to score next but they didn`t, with good high pressing allowing Todd to score the third with arguably the hardest chance he had up til then. It was only really Henderson`s superb effort off the stanction and the one Munn fumbled that had us under any threat of not keeping the clean sheet. Kane coming on and having three.great chances in about 5 minutes - one just wide, one well saved and then the goal - just capped it all off.
Think there were a few really good performances for me tonight - Abdulai again looked solid and he still hasn`t conceded since he came into the team, Kearney was up and down the right flank all evening, Bray worked well with him and showed glimpses of the player Inverness fans believe him to be (many of their fans saying he was better than Christie at the same age and was a proper generational talent in terms of players that came through there) and Todd was back to his energetic best. Tod scored two and put the defenders under some pressure and Cáceres was drifting here and there but both didn`t actually stand out in a strange way which is great to see as it shows the attacking talent we have available and that`s without playing with a recognised centre forward!
Really good to come away with such a convincing scoreline and it goes some way to vanishing the memory of the last time we played there!

What a bizarre game.
First half was pretty even - play was very open with a decent pace to it and it was interesting to watch, even though there weren`t really any chances. Airdrie looked slightly more likely to score than we did, just because they managed to get behind our defence a few times. Then, suddenly, we score with our first two good chancez before half time, another just after half time - madly it`s 3-0 and set up for a comfortable win.
First goal was really nice - good move up the right and a good ball in. Matty Todd did well to set up the second. Not quite sure what happened for the ball to him for the third but looked a well-placed finish.
The second half was pretty dull - it was understandable with a good lead and another game to come in a few days, but I felt we got pretty sloppy. It seemed like we were trying to slow it down and take as little out of the team as possible, making it a bit flat. I always feel a mistake could be coming when we go into that mode and there were a few, but Airdrie weren`t really good enough to look like coming back. It was a bit frustrating that we kept slowing it down when there was space to attack but winning without needing needing to put too much intot he game is a great result.
Referee had a bit of a shocker. Didn`t really look a hard game to referee but he managed to make a mess of it.
Bray had a good game and looked to have something to get past his man and into space. Kearney also had a good game - he had a tough job at right back as Airdrie attacked a lot on that side and he was also quite exposed at times. Maybe a bit of a mistake near the end when Airdrie hit the bar but I thought he was really good apart from that.
Good win, especially with a midfield 4 who all seemed miles away from starting just a few weeks ago.
Lastly, we`ve now scored more goals away from home than we managed all of last season.

Great couple of results but the three before it were poor. We’ve beat a Rovers team on the decline 😂 and a brutal Airdrie team. Let’s see how we do against the Stuttering Staggies £££’s , win that then we are defo on our way to top 4
Airdrie held St.J to a draw until virtually the last kick of the ball a couple of weeks ago.
We panned Arbroath who just panned St.J.
Plenty reasons to be confident.

If you don`t get results against the lower teams then you`ll never compete with the higher teams. These players are young and it`s essentially a new team. They`ve also had the disruption of international breaks and injuries. They`re doing well but we`ve seen there will be lows as well as highs. I think we can be quietly confident but it`s too early to.stsrt thinking of promotion play offs. Take each game as it comes.

Solid performance. 2-0 each half and I felt we were good for it. Really pleased to see Matty Todd starting to return to a bit of form. Made the second goal. good first touch got round defender and cut back.
I actually think that was really important because hopefully the team will gain a lot of confidence from winning back to back wins

NL post-match audio interview is now on COWS. He says there`s more to come from this squad. He was very complimentary about Matty Todd in particular as he recently suffered a family bereavement. He's not sure which of the injured players will be available on Saturday apart from Stewart who will have completed the concussion protocols.
