Scotland 4-2 (total domination from the Scots )
Topic Originator: Raymie the Legend

Let’s hope we can win, but I’m not confident.
I hope he picks the right team and allows them to express themselves.

Belarus gave Scotland a get-out-of-jail card. Let`s hope they make the most of it tonight. A one off game with home advantage represents a far better chance of progress than two play off games which are unlikely to be both at Hampden.

We need to go for it from the off. What is there to lose?

We need to win tonight. No defensive football, go for it!

It`s a shame Gilmour isn`t fit.

Looks like a matter of time. I would have brought Adams on for Doak. Has some pace and could have supported Dykes.
Putting McLean on is Clarke reverting to type

McLean definitely the right choice when ahead. Different if we still needed a goal, but no point putting another out and out striker on when defending a lead.

One performance I`ve been impressed with so far is the ref... Allowed players to compete when most wouldve blown for a foul, but any time a player uses their hands to impede, its been given...

Being negative after going ahead was what Southgate did against Italy and it cost them the Euros.

It`s not negative though, its a midfielder for a midfielder.

Might work, might not but no point changing formation at that stage.

Long way to go.

Unbelievable.

Pig sick of the stick Clarke gets. We have no top class centre half, strikers and a severely undercooked 42 year old goalie. Do not underestimate the psychological weight that the Scottish national team have carried after decades of lows as well.

What a night. What sport and life is all about.

I don`t see how that was a penalty. Robbo had a foot on the line, but the Dane had no part of himself in the box. Does Robbo`s body count as a continuation of the Dane`s? Well we got recompense with the sending off. I knew we`d start playing more attacking if they scored. Boy, we`ve got some spirit, and cohesion -just as important. Mega achievement.

What a match but surely their penalty foul contact was just outside the box and milked by the Dane?

I honestly don’t know how we done that, but the scenes at the third and fourth goals were unbelievable! And I missed the first thanks to traffic n turnstiles 🙄

Credit to the players tonight, twice ahead and pegged back but never gave up and pushed for that 3rd and what a hit it was!

Now got to get the mrs to cancel the wedding 🤔

Even BBC2`s Newsnight acknowledged our qualification and showed Tierney`s goal!

Andy Robertsons after match interview was very emotional. It’s clear the loss of his friend Diego Jota is still very raw. He gave everything tonight.
