thought I`d post a new thread.
there will be a PPV Video stream on https://qostv.co.uk/
for cup games there is a revenue share
though there will not be commentary,
better to see something than no stream so hope thats fine.
should weather turn worse there will be a refund or will be valid for the new date fixture.
any problems come onto the support chat on QOSTV, bottom right
I`ll try and check here too

So is this available to stream in the UK? I thought there was a ban on live streaming when there were Champions League games on? I must say I find the rules about live streaming very confusing!

It’s not just you Blacklight. Wind makes a mockery of football for fans and players.
And that’s before the warnings about travel are taken into account.

Absolutely farcical scenario to be in. All games should’ve just been called off tonight.
Our team has has travelled down to Dumfries, no doubt having a pre match meal somewhere and other costs such as the bus for possibly no reason.
Never mind even mentioning the fans travelling too sadly.

Astonishing lack of foresight. In this day and age with the advanced weather information that is available its incredible that these decisions were not made earlier. It appears to show a complete lack of thought for supporters, players, match and club officials. This was completely foreseeable.

The wind wasn’t so bad earlier so a local ref would have passed it - this is down to the authorities - with the forecast all games should have been off. Travelling is dangerous and any matches going ahead will be a farce (I’ve seen pictures of the Ayr game and it looks horrific)

Would the local ref have had the authority to call it off? Presumably the pitch was ok, and the postponement was because of weather.
This could and should have been decided by Mr Doncaster from his nice warm office in Glasgow, by looking at the Met Office weather warnings (for Fife, SW Scotland and everywhere in-between) issued at 11.14 on Sunday, and extended at 11.02 today to include Wednesday as well.
I just hope everyone travelling in the next few hours because of the SPFL`s bungling gets home safely.

The postponement was entirely predictable and questions should be asked.
Who thought the match should go ahead and why?
What did and what does the SPFL have to say?
I think a brief statement from the club, in particular from Drew, would be welcome.
I didn`t travel - I didn`t fancy the journey, the seating arrangements were unsatisfactory the last time I was at Palmerston and I wondered whether the game would be called off, so I`m only mildly furious.
Was there police advice about travelling? Trains had been cancelled and authorities were already advising of difficulties on the roads in Dumfries and Galloway.

Nothing to with the pitch though.
A local ref can’t decide on weather conditions from 50 miles away to the ground.

Apart from the obvious of confirming a call off before the away fans and team leave, if QOTS players not arriving in time was the reason, or part of the reason for the call off, then they should forfeit the game as they were unable to fill the fixture. If our team made it down in time then they obviously didn’t leave early enough to get there.

I work in Dumfries. The weather has been atrocious for the past 48 hours. After a lull earlier today, it deteriorated from around 3pm.
The game was never going to start and should have been called-off early.
There were quite a few Pars fans at the ground - hope everyone has a safe journey home.
