Much slagged.
Yet he is our record shut out keeper in a season
Every game he comes back for he performs well
The modern game seems to want a sweeper keeper.
He seems to be getting into the groove for that and is still a very very good shot stopping keeper.

I thought he played well today. He looked assured. He will always save us one or two goals every month. He had a shakey season last year, but we all go through spells like that. Hopefully, he has come through it the stronger for it.

Looked good today - stopped the shots he could really well, distribution much better and didn’t shy away from the crosses on top of him with 2/3 really good punches.

I’m sure NL mentioned at the Alhambra night that Mehmet was getting emptied at this point.
Have we all forgotten what a liability he is.

You don`t have to deny poor performances to credit good ones.

When has Denis been a liability? What games did he gift? I can think of loads of duff goalkeepers but Denis has been 90%solid.

He was getting the nickname Dracula because he was scared of crosses, it’s his one obvious frailty. If you can perform the rest well though you might get away with it.

Outstanding save in the first half and another important save at the start of the second.
Credit where credit is due.

Thankfully the manager doesn`t write off players as quickly as some of the fans do but tries to keep them engaged in case they are needed eg Todd, Bray, Ngwenya and now Mehmet. It`s all part of the art of management.

He told Todd he was free to find another club...

I think NL has always said that competition for places is important and if you are performing well he will have no hesitation in playing you.

...and then brought him back into the team at Airdrie and I don`t think he`s missed a game since.

He did, and its gotten a positive reaction out of Todd - which is what he will want. Ngwenya was as good as gone as well and last 2 games appears to have shifted the momentum slightly.
