Really keeping my fingers crossed that the game is on, hate rescheduling games as they are normally on a Tuesday night when I can’t go

Makes sense, at least they are giving plenty time
Can`t see it going ahead I`m afraid, the main stand side probably frozen.

Club is happy with the pitch at present, and to be no colder overnight tonight than it has been all week. County just have no interest in this game going ahead.

The grass here in the west is rather frozen right now and I doubt that it would take a stud so hopefully the covers do their job.

How? Invested in new stuff, and if its been fine all week, its to be no different tommorow?

Will most likely come down to travelling conditions for players and staff who live in Dingwall.
I would say fans but we already know the SPFL don’t give a damn about them.
Weather forecast isn’t for heavy snow tomorrow in Dingwall so here’s hoping.

RC are riddled with a sickness bug, and have recalled a couple youths from loans with local Highland League clubs.
I half expected them to ask for a postponement earlier in the week tbh. The weather may be an easy excuse to have the match called off, and allow the team to recover

It won`t be Ross County`s call though, will it?

No, of course not. What I meant was,I`m not sure what the repercussions of asking for a match to be postponed due to sickness is. Is there a fine, or loss of points? Presumably not, I`d imagine there would be no comeback for County, but perhaps they`ve taken a bit of a gamble on the long-term weather, rather than having to ask for the match to be cancelled anyway.

It might be off but more likely for travel reasons than pitch reasons

Surely the same protocol that let fans into the QOS game then cled it off will prevail.
It`s not the roads that matter its the pitch. Hope it`s on and we pump them.

Could be a bit like when we played Ayr. Got knows if the A9 will be open in the morning. Does seem slightly bonkers though given we have known about this weather issue all week.

I imagine they`ll be praying for our pitch to freeze and for more snow up there. That would give the new manager more time with the players.
Interestingly, when looking at the BBC weather app it doesn`t say `do not travel` against any of the coloured weather warnings. That seems to be down to the local authorities...so maybe Uncle Roy will get onto the local coppers and get the notice put out not to travel. 😂

I’m on Elgin and the snow is pretty bad and due to be bad overnight. The A9 can be a nightmare at the best of times
