He is a decent footballer, know what he can do , high energy player and he would add experience to the team.

Might end up at Ross County?
Pure conjecture but could see them holding out for as much as possible for Ronan Hale, then as soon as that move is confirmed, reveal McManus.
Would probably have been there before when Kettlewell was in charge.
He`d have to move to Dingwall though...

Nothing has come of our supposed interest in another Scot playing in N Ireland, Calumn Morrison.

In theory alongside Rudden I’d say that would work. Based on what we’ve seen previous with Declan but I have no idea what he’s like these days.
We won’t sign someone based on past experiences of them, same goes for Morrison. The Morrison of a few seasons ago I’d take in a heartbeat but I don’t know what he’s been like recently.

I’ve never quite understood the attachment to players after they’ve been released. For me, the focus should always be on what’s ahead rather than what’s already happened.

To be fair we accepted a bid for him last time round. Get what you are saying though.

It is completely understandable that fans associated positive memories with historical positive events and players. And they will forget about screaming at him after he has misplaced a pass within the first minute of a game!
This behaviour is certainly something that gets humans into trouble sometimes.
I suspect there`s a good chance you`re dead inside*, but on the plus side your Saturday nights probably not ruined after an expectedly horrific Pars performance 😃.
*unless it is due to a bad refereeing decision.

To be fair, he has been playing at a really low level for most of his time since leaving us. He went after money, which is fair enough.

Didn`t he cost us the Premiership play-off QF at Tannadice in 2018 despite scoring the opening goal?

Played and scored in Conference League and Champions League Qualifiers against some amazing team called Häcken..... I have heard they are almost impossible to beat.

At 1-0 up just before HT he was clean thro and shot straight at the keeper instead of squaring to Aird who would`ve had an open goal to make it 2.

Was never the most prolific but he would always give the defenders a hard time & he was decent at making things happen for other players
No idea how he plays these days but only 31 & did seem to be really fit in his time here
No idea if he`d be on Lennon`s radar though

Yip. And he had a blinder at EEP pulling off at least two fantastic saves…
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
