I`m taking my 5 year old son for his first Pars match next month, took him to a Brann match last season so he`s caught the bug and was excited to learn he was going to Hampden.
Our route to Hampden from Bergen is an unusual one as we were originally scheduled to be in Devon for that weekend for my in-laws` golden wedding anniversary celebration. Needless to say I`ve excused myself and the lad from that (didn`t go down too well with everyone!). So we`re going Bergen-Gatwick on the Wednesday, then Newquay to Edinburgh via Dublin on the Friday.
So for a potentially once in a lifetime chance of watching the Pars lift the Cup, where is everyone else travelling from? And how are you getting there?
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Potentially Brisbane. My dad passed away last month so I unexpectedly made the sad journey home - he’s the reason I’m a Pars fan, so Saturday was filled with mixed emotions and a lot of tears. If I can get my funds back up and work as many hours as I can - I’ll try and be there for the both of us.

Kennesaw, Georgia which is a small city about 25 miles North West of Atlanta. I’m bringing my 14 year old son who was born in the U.S. He’s seen one Pars game a few years ago and very excited.
Shorter trip for me this time. The 2007 Cup final I flew from Lima,Peru as had been working there.
No matter how near or how far a journey I’m just glad to be coming over. I did see the home win in person against Airdrie in August and watch most games on Pars TV.

Sorry for your loss The-Pars. I would have felt very much the same.
I’m planning to take my dad to the final. He will be 85 in the summer. He always promised to take me to see the Pars when I was kid but he sacrificed a lot to bring up his family. I eventually took him back to watching games. First one together was a notable 3-0 win against Falkirk on Hogmanay in 1988. We walked six miles to get to that match and back. I’m hoping a bus will drop us off this time!
