I`m taking my 5 year old son for his first Pars match next month, took him to a Brann match last season so he`s caught the bug and was excited to learn he was going to Hampden.
Our route to Hampden from Bergen is an unusual one as we were originally scheduled to be in Devon for that weekend for my in-laws` golden wedding anniversary celebration. Needless to say I`ve excused myself and the lad from that (didn`t go down too well with everyone!). So we`re going Bergen-Gatwick on the Wednesday, then Newquay to Edinburgh via Dublin on the Friday.
So for a potentially once in a lifetime chance of watching the Pars lift the Cup, where is everyone else travelling from? And how are you getting there?
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Potentially Brisbane. My dad passed away last month so I unexpectedly made the sad journey home - he’s the reason I’m a Pars fan, so Saturday was filled with mixed emotions and a lot of tears. If I can get my funds back up and work as many hours as I can - I’ll try and be there for the both of us.

Kennesaw, Georgia which is a small city about 25 miles North West of Atlanta. I’m bringing my 14 year old son who was born in the U.S. He’s seen one Pars game a few years ago and very excited.
Shorter trip for me this time. The 2007 Cup final I flew from Lima,Peru as had been working there.
No matter how near or how far a journey I’m just glad to be coming over. I did see the home win in person against Airdrie in August and watch most games on Pars TV.

Sorry for your loss The-Pars. I would have felt very much the same.
I’m planning to take my dad to the final. He will be 85 in the summer. He always promised to take me to see the Pars when I was kid but he sacrificed a lot to bring up his family. I eventually took him back to watching games. First one together was a notable 3-0 win against Falkirk on Hogmanay in 1988. We walked six miles to get to that match and back. I’m hoping a bus will drop us off this time!

The sunny sights of…..Cowdenbeath 😂 I was considering taking my 5 year old daughter along, she has attended a couple of games this season, but I think the occasion and length of day would be too much for her. I can see a few family members of mine making the trip, including soon to be in laws.
Would be great for us to win it - the Mrs Grandad is well into his 80s now and a bit Pars fan, but cant really get to games anymore, so would be fantastic if we won it just to see the smile on his face!
Also, sorry for your loss The-Pars.

Nothing as glamorous as some of the other posters, which ones, I’ll let you make your mind up😉
Travelling up from Long Itchington (Warwickshire) as I did this last week. Likely to have my son-in-law and 2 grandsons this time along with my 2 sons and brother-in-law. Hoping we can make memories by lifting the trophy and end my own hoodoo of nearly 50 years supporting the Pars.

From the Wee County, now that we have a rail connection I have that option. Got the train most of the way Saturday before hooking up with son, grandson and a longtime Pars friend at Lenzie for onward travel.
I should have minded that the train stopped at Larbert - more than a few Falkirk got on...................
On the way back I jumped on a front carriage - just as well - the rear ones were full of greetin` Bairns, however they never clocked me - watching them trundle off with tails between legs was worth the fare alone !!!

Flying out to Tenerife next Monday for 3 weeks so will be watching play offs in various bars, back for the final though!
Brings back memories of last final sgainst Celtic, was out in Tenerife and saw us defeat Celtic at Parkhead on telly, amongst a Celtic support in the Irish Fiddler.
They were all very friendly and wished me well for the final!

Could be a lot of travel involved too in regards to the playoffs.

Related to this thread as to how many tickets we request for the final.
In 2004, we took 17000 where everyone and their dog was there.
I was in Germany at that time and I remembers loads travelling from all over the world.
So, assuming everyone who went on Saturday will be there plus all the rest we should be requesting about the same number of tickets and take it from there.

I hope the town gets behind the team like they did in 2004. Walking down the high street the week before the final and lots of the shops had Pars window displays.
Ive often wondered what the town would have looked like on the afternoon of the final, it felt like it must have been totally empty as everyone was in Glasgow

Relatively short journey from South Buckinghamshire. Will be there with three sons and four grandsons. Sadly some of them will be supporting Celtic - a product of living in the west of Scotland during their formative years and we were in the doldrums.
Hopefully enjoy again the winning experience of 1961 when I was fifteen. Can never forget both games and the celebrations afterwards.
Will have to dig out the scarf I got for my tenth birthday. Now more like black and yellow after seventy years!

I got a new job a few days after we we beat Aberdeen and drew Falkirk, so I took that as a sign and booked myself into a nice hotel in Glasgow for cup final weekend.
And Neil Lennon has been on the winning side for every cup final I`ve been to this century so our victory is written in the stars, and I intend to celebrate it properly!

I was actually back in Scotland last weekend but couldn`t go to the Semi-Final because one of my close friend`s wedding clashed with it. He`s a Rovers fan so was the first person to message me saying "shame it`s on the Saturday and you can`t go" when the game was confirmed for the Saturday vs. the Sunday.

I`m not travelling from very far but the manner in which I might be doing so is a little interesting....
I`m doing a planned charity skydive at Fife Airport in Glenrothes on Saturday. The hope is that our group are first up in the morning and we hit the ground (hopefully not too hard and with parachutes) by 11am. It`ll then be a case of racing through to Glasgow for the cup final.
I`m not really sure how my heart will cope with a skydive followed by a cup final win!

However, I missed the semi final as I`d only just been discharged from the major trauma unit a few days before.
I`m not going against medical advice as they acknowledged I was going to the final no matter what.
I will be getting myself down from my second floor flat for the first time in months and getting a taxi to the Tartan Coo for lunch. Then the hobble to Hampden which will be the longest I`ve hobbled since my accident (lost in a fight to a car).
I will not miss this.
