With us playing Arbroath 3 times in a week, the first game really only matters for who plays at home when. So, do we go out for the win to get a morale booster ahead of the 2 playoff games, or do we play a 2nd string team to rest our key players?

If the players are fit and wanting to play then go for it!

We`ve already played each other four times this season. I don`t think there are too many surprises to be pulled.
Go for it with the strongest team. Beat them in the league and then beat them again twice in the play offs.

I think Lennon said we want to win. Momentum is important. Maybe it wasn`t him though. I read it somewhere. I think.

I think we are more than capable of beating them with a “second string” team.
I’m sure we will rotate.
Folks are forgetting that Arbroath could well rotate.
It`s bloody tough being a legend

I`d rotate the team. The advantage of having the first XI fresh is greater than the advantage of having the 2nd leg at EEP imo
If all goes well we`ll have two games per week for a while, so take the rest while we can

If I was Lennon and had a full team to play and the team wanted to play then play them…it’s a couple of weeks to the final anyway??

We also seem to be underestimating Arbroath, sure they they aren`t on great form just now, but of the 3 games this season, they have won 2, including the game at EEP, and the game we won it was probably our best performance of the season... We need to be fully up for the battle in the playoffs, because it IS going to be a battle...

Well said D3monstrate, it going to be a battle and in Lennon mind he has said before confidence is important and a defeat on Saturday may affect confidence going into play offs. A win will inspire confidence and gives an edge in mentality going into a game.
Hope to see an element of rotation out but not too much. So want to see us win every remaining game we have 🏁🏁

If, as some have said, that there`s a financial incentive to finishing 3rd, then it would be wise to play a strong team and go for the win.
