They may not have lifted the trophy, but club and the management team can hold their heads incredibly high after an unforgettable Scottish Cup run.
Reaching the final was a phenomenal achievement and a testament to the spirit, determination, and belief throughout the squad and supporters alike. This team gave everything for the badge and brought pride, passion, and excitement back to the club on one of the biggest stages in Scottish football.
Cup finals don’t always end with silverware, but journeys like this create memories that last forever. The noise, the atmosphere, the togetherness, and the belief from the Pars faithful every step of the way showed exactly what this club means to its community.
The players fought until the very end, and the supporters never stopped singing. That connection is something special — and this run has given everyone associated with Dunfermline reason to believe that even bigger days lie ahead.
A final reached. A city united. A club to be proud of.
Come on ye Pars. 💙⚽

Lenny is building strong foundations.
This season is just the roots of the building.
A few more years on this forward thinking path and we`ll be in a very good place.
Patience.
I blame Andy Rhodes for this!

Didn`t think we`d win today tbh - just hoped we`d give them a game and maybe, just maybe.
Feared a gubbing at half time but to our (and Lenny`s ) credit it changed at ht and we DREW 1 1 WITH SCOTLAND `S CHAMPIONS in the second half.
Hopefully invaluable experience for our lads to kick on next season.
Sooooo proud of them and our fans for staying to applaud them at the end.
We scored - last goal is the winner lol 🤔🤣🏆😜
Onto next season - onwards & upwards. Very proud COYP 🏁👏🏼😎🫶
COME ON YE PARS!

Didn’t think we gave the best account of ourselves yesterday but The victories against Hibs, Aberdeen and Falkirk will live long in the memory and it was a fantastic journey Lots of positivity and optimism tempered a little by the fact that the foundations of the team that got us there may leave.

A couple of years back we beat Ayr 2-1 with a couple of late goals to give us a chance of staying up. Ultimately we got relegated via the playoffs by queen`s park. But after the Ayr game I went back to the pub for a beer or two and watched the 2nd half of the fa cup semi final between Liverpool and man city before getting the bus back home to Erskine. The pub was full of pars fans celebrating the win, a belief in us that we could stay up. I sat there watching friends and family sharing the moment but it dawned on me at that time, as I am from the west coast all my friends and family are either old firm or still mirren fans. My oldest boy isn`t interested in football he is a rugby fan, my youngest was a rangers fan at the time. I was just turning 40 and I was sat in the pub thinking I have no one close to me that will ever share the highs and lows of being a pars fan with me, I don`t know why that hit me at that time as I have been a pars fan since I was 4 years old. A bit strange coming from the west coast and a family full of rangers fans. But fast forward to this year a win against Aberdeen in the cup fuelled my youngest to show an interest in the pars, I took him along to the semi final and after the game he was telling everyone he is now a Dunfermline fan. We were at the final again yesterday sharing the experience together, a moment I will never forget. He is already buzzing for next season asking when the season starts and when the new strip will be out. So thank you to the team and the management for inspiring the next generation of pars fans. Yes I wish we had won the cup yesterday, but I feel like I have won something much better than that.

Its been a great season all around thanks to the hard work of the owners, management and players. The club has really has improved immeasurably in the last 12 months. Playoffs and a cup final is a huge achievement. I hope the players who have been offered new contracts reflect on their achievements and where the club may go next season. Sometimes its better at a certain stage in your career to be a king amongst pawns rather than a pawn amongst kings. There is direction at the club, a chance to win the championship, and enjoy the ride. FAZ was an example of a player who left a season too early and as a result never fulfilled his promise. Its about the right time, not the right money.

Crazy how football works. Fourteen months ago, Lenny came into an absolute bin fire of a club. Alongside the new owners, he completely transformed the team, and now we’re sitting disappointed after getting beat in the Scottish Cup Final. It really shows how far Dunfermline have come in such a short period of time.
I said we needed to get to 30 minutes at 0-0, but with one roll of the ball we could have been 1-0 up. Not starting either Kane or Rudden was a mistake because when they don’t play, we don’t carry much of a threat.
Tod doesn’t deal with the long ball, and we gave Engels too much room, so it was pretty much game over from that point.
It stings, and it probably will for a few days, but we need to trust the process. I’m sure we’ll be active in the transfer window, and I trust the recruitment team to make us major contenders next season.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Agree with the above sentiment, let’s not forget we were playing the best team in Scotland who unfortunately had hit a real vein of form.
We over achieved to even be there yesterday and weren’t shown up as I had feared.
Congrats to everyone for involved and can’t wait for next season to start already!
