Several players were excellent yesterday, but Nurudeen Abdulai was quite simply outstanding, both defensively and in his sorties upfield. He`s strong, resilient and skillful. It would have been brilliant to see him score as that would have capped a peerless display.
Not your average Sunday League player.

He`s a great player. Surely he will go at some point for a club record fee.

He is every bit as good or arguably even better than Chilokoa Mullen. Don`t know what contract he is on but the club must ensure we don`t lose him in the same way. He is capable of playing at a high level.

From my 20 min of viewing I’d say Abdulai too but also Lobban. What a player he is.

I think we were all apprehensive about the loss of JCM and Ngwenya but Abdulai has flourished since they left and SCH has proved to be an astute signing. Donnelly, Robinson and J Tod may struggle for game time if they stay fit and NL sticks with playing with two CBs.

I thought he was under contract until May 2028, but I could be wrong.

Or for next to nothing on freedom of contract..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Here`s hoping he is.

He will only go for a good fee if we manage to go up. Transfer fees paid at this level are a pittance. Surely our owners must know this or their plan is flawed.

I think there`s a fair amount of evidence to suggest our owners would prefer us to be playing in the Premier League.

Abdulai by a mile.
I think having owners who are not so fussed about balancing the books will help us turn down low ball offers for some of our players.
