Keir Starmer raised the issue of government spending on the coronavirus epidemic favouring Tory cronies at PMQs today but it wasn`t really focussed enough to hit the target. There may be more to come though.

Said the numbers were too high. I think I said 1000 minimum for the cost of 1.00 they reckoned they got a better deal from UK supplier.
As I said at the time 3 for. 10.00 would still earn the club a healthy profit selling 333 sets

Not quite the case, jake, but we get your drift :-
From the Guardian -
``Pay rises for the public sector will be paused next year, with an exemption for more than 1 million nurses and doctors in the NHS.
2.1 million public sector workers who earn below the median wage of £24,000 will be guaranteed a pay rise of at least £250.``
Ministers salaries may be frozen as well I think.

This is of course the UK position. The devolved governments of Scotland, Wales and NI could act differently.

That was my first reaction as well but its some story for a Barrister to make public if he didn't think it was true.
Edited to add: That doesn't necessarily make it true as there is obviously still no evidence and it's not like a legal professional has never lied but in theory it should be a more reliable source than some random like me making the claim.
