Never mind investigating the Bra Queen lets investigate who awarded her the contract .. Wheres Boris ?
Referencing the Guardian story during an urgent question in the House of Commons, Ms Rayner said it appeared "tens of millions of pounds" from the money awarded to the company "ended up in offshore accounts connected to the individuals involved".
In response, Health Minister Neil O`Brien told MPs it had been widely reported PPE Medpro had an "underperforming contract" and the government could claim for damages, which can be followed by litigation if an agreement isn`t reached.

Mone referred PPE Medpro for the VIP lane 5 days before the company was even registered. Michael Gove has admitted receiving the call from her and passing the details on to the Civil Servants. Within weeks PPE Medpro received a £203 million contract despite clearly having no experience of providing PPE.
This is nothing but racketeering and is only the tip of the iceberg, they should all be in jail.

In this type of situation, who is to blame? Presumably the Government m, unless they were completely convinced of the ability of this new company. And as for the contract price being over-cooked, what should happen about that? If it was a genuine misjudgement, should the company obliged to refund the taxpayer to remove the grossly excess profits? Or is it a case of “buyer beware”, coupled with incompetence on the part of the government. Or maybe good old corruption??? Clearly there should be an enquiry into these and all the other dodgy PPE contracts. Quite sickening: really.

It`s a classic way of rewarding party donors at the taxpayers` expense made easier by claiming that an international shortage of PPE meant the normal strict procurement rules had to be relaxed to ensure we got supplies.

From the Guardian:-
A spokesperson for Tory peer Lady Mone said:
With immediate effect, Baroness Mone will be taking a leave of absence from the House of Lords in order to clear her name of the allegations that have been unjustly levelled against her.
As PA Media reports, the leave of absence means Lady Mone will not attend sittings of the House, vote on any proceedings and will not be able to claim any allowance.
According to Hansard, Mone has only spoken in the Lords on five occasions since getting her peerage in 2015. She last voted in April.

Not wishing death on anyone, da. I`m just saying I understand where red star was coming from. e.g. I suspect none of us would shed a tear if Putin died in his sleep tonight.....
And that`s before we consider paedophiles, drug dealers, murderers etc. Would the world not be a better place if these people died before they had a chance to carry out their heinous crimes?
As an aside, I knew the man who murdered 16 P1 children and their teacher at Dunblane, before committing suicide. I`ve always been of the opinion that it would have been better if he`d turned the gun on himself first instead of taking the lives of these poor innocent kids.
Tell me that`s an evil thought.

I don`t mind telling you you`ve lost me, da. Red Star said he wouldn`t lose any sleep over the death of some odious/evil individuals. You interpreted that as "wishing death" on these people. Only Red Star will know if that`s what he meant. I didn`t read it that way.
When a good person dies, we may feel sadness - an unpopular person dying may at best, produce indifference and at worst, outright glee. There was plenty of that on this forum when Margaret Thatcher went the way of all flesh.
Just because many posters were happy to see the back of Thatcher, doesn`t mean they were wishing death on her,

From the F.T.
A company linked to the husband of Tory party peer Baroness Michelle Mone paid nearly £10mn for a townhouse in one of London’s most exclusive areas in late 2020, months after a medical goods supplier with connections to the couple won more than £200mn worth of government contracts.
A company called Chester Ventures, incorporated in the Isle of Man in early December 2020, paid £9.25mn for 4 Chester Square in Belgravia later that month, according to Land Registry documents.
